Activities include stripping leaves from sorghum canes, feeding the canes into a horse powered press to draw out the juice, and stirring the boiling juice as it thickens into molasses. Finish with a taste of molasses confections such as gingerbread and molasses candy.

The free, family-friendly 31st Annual Wildlife Festival celebrates the wildlife of Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. The 13th annual charity car show from Lakeside Cabinets features a family friendly lineup of vehicles across seven classes, along with music and a food truck, in partnership with Thumbs Up to support mental health and suicide prevention. The scavenger hunt is $20 per person for ages 13 and up, and children 12 and under participate for free. Complete the hunt and submit your game card for a chance to win cash prizes of $150, $100, or $50. Meals are available for $8, with $1 waters throughout the day.
