All The Best is a Marathi comedy-drama written and directed by Devendra Pem. Three friends who share a home, Vijay who is blind, Chandrakant, known as Chang, who is deaf, and Dilip who is mute, each fall for the same woman, Mohini. They work at a telephone booth, a food truck, and a music store, and Mohini is a regular at their shops, yet none of them approaches her because of fear about their disabilities. When she unexpectedly visits their home, they discover they are all in love with the same person. The story unfolds through their comic efforts to hide their own challenges, expose the others, and win Mohini’s favor, with irony and puns woven throughout. Presented at Fridley High School.

Sanctuary Strings, an acoustic guitar duo featuring Matt Guertin of local band Seismic City and Keith Curtis, will be at Water Works. They share beliefs that life exists on other planets, that art imitates life, and that the egg came before the chicken.

Experience an upbeat evening of social dancing in the Large Studio at Tapestry Folkdance Center with a welcoming Contra Dance. The event begins with a brief introductory lesson led by a caller who walks everyone through the figures, then transitions into guided dancing so newcomers and seasoned dancers can enjoy the flow together. The formations are similar to old-time squares and are usually set in long lines with partners facing each other. Partners are not required, since they change throughout the event and every dance is taught. The music draws on rich acoustic traditions, often featuring lively fiddles and tunes inspired by New England, French Canadian, Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton styles, along with modern compositions. Pricing varies by music format. Grand Oak Opry presents an intimate evening with Kaatwalk, a Twin Cities singer songwriter known for candid, heartfelt lyrics and a stripped back sound. Influenced by storytellers like Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, and Joni Mitchell, her songs draw on lived moments and everyday emotion. Her growing catalog includes Monster, Rum in Your Coffee, Peace of Mind with Walking Phoenix, Falling on Deaf Ears with Dirty Hymns, Stop the Rain, Can’t Be Alone, and Open Your Eyes, with an EP titled A Week in June. MNDDC will present disc dog demonstrations at the Minnesota State Fair throughout the day. The program highlights freestyle, includes performance freestyle segments, Toss & Fetch, and Frizgility, and welcomes teams at every skill level, including dogs that are just learning. Two demo days are planned this year. Participating teams must be MNDDC members, able to stay for the full day, and willing to assist with duties such as setup, teardown, microphone responsibilities, and field cleanup. To broaden participation, the number of dogs per handler may be limited initially, with the possibility of additional dogs if space becomes available. Demo shirts are required for all teams. Americana singer and songwriter MoeDeLL brings agile guitar work, inventive lyrics, and a singular voice, weaving toe-tapping grooves and steady rhythms into stories that shift from playful to heartfelt. A Virginia native shaped by old country, bluegrass pickers, and rock influences, he has released recordings including Out There, Kairos, Local, and Logan Drive. Known for spirited shows across the country, he appears solo or with collaborators and has shared bills with Antigone Rising, Better Than Ezra, Cheap Trick, Bret Michaels of Poison, and members of Blind Melon.

Anna, played by Agata Trzebuchowska, has been raised in a convent and is about to take her vows when she is directed to visit her only surviving relative, Wanda, portrayed by Agata Kulesza. Filmed in black and white, Ida follows their meeting as it reveals a story of family tragedy. Released in 2013 and running 82 minutes, the film is in Polish with English subtitles, directed by Pawel Pawlikowski and also featuring Dawid Ogrodnik.
