Wrap up the week at The Grove with a free, family-friendly music series led by singer-songwriter Josh Threlkeld. Each edition of Let’s JAM (Join All the Music) brings special guests and invites playful participation, including sing-alongs, call-and-response moments, name-that-tune challenges, and plenty of dancing. Live performances unfold on the TruGreen Lawn, and a full bar is available on the First Horizon Foundation Plaza. After the Let’s JAM program, the music continues. Admission is free and requires no tickets. Food is available from 901 Eats and Treats and Mempops. Outside beverages are not permitted, and all coolers, bags, and purses are subject to search. For safety and comfort, the following are not allowed in The Grove: vaping, glass, pets, firearms, weapons, professional recording devices, thrown objects, skateboards, large umbrellas, grills, drones, laser pointers, illegal drugs or paraphernalia, fireworks or pyrotechnics, card tables, solicitation of any kind, and smoking. Tables are allowed within reason if no larger than 3 feet wide by 3 feet tall, and toppers for coolers or wagons must also stay under those dimensions. Only small, hand-held umbrellas are permitted.

Friendly games of Spades take place at The Game Table. Participation is free, and coffee is provided.

Bluegrass pickers and fans gather on Collierville Town Square for informal, all acoustic jamming in good weather. Spectators are welcome, it is free and family friendly, and bringing a chair and a picnic is encouraged. Musicians who play bluegrass are welcome to take part, acoustic instruments only, and visitors from out of town are included in this open jam. This long running tradition is now in its 26th year in Collierville, Tennessee. On a special date, the jam is replaced by a bluegrass concert by Tennessee Tradition as part of a weekend festival.

Set on the front lawn of City Hall, the Olive Branch Farmers Market highlights Genuine MS produce along with baked treats, handcrafted items, and other selections. It is held on Saturdays throughout the summer.

The Hernando Farmers Market fills the Historic Hernando Town Square with local growers, makers, and neighbors, presented with support from Sky Lake Construction. It serves as both a shopping destination and a relaxed community gathering place where the small-town spirit of Mississippi shines. Shoppers find seasonal produce from nearby farms along with local milk and pork, pasture-raised eggs, honey, jams and pickles, nursery plants, breads and pastries, cut flowers, herbs, fresh salsa and guacamole, and a variety of handmade crafts. Beyond the vendor booths, the market features live music, complimentary fitness activities, and special happenings while the market is open. Children’s Day highlights the Power of Produce (POP) program with free activities hosted by local organizations, plus free books and $5 POP Bucks for the first 100 participants to use with produce vendors, encouraging healthy eating and basic money skills. Senior Day, supported by the Desoto County Farm Bureau Federation, provides the first 100 seniors with a $5 token to spend at the market. Credit cards and SNAP/EBT are accepted at the market table in exchange for tokens that can be used at vendor booths. Through Double Up Food Bucks Mississippi, SNAP purchases of fruits and vegetables are matched dollar for dollar up to $20 per transaction. As a Mississippi Certified Market designated by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, the market emphasizes fresh, local products. Business Casual, a new act on the scene, delivers a set of 90s emo, pop, and punk hits that will have the park moving. This concert is part of a free series made possible by sponsors including B. Side Porch Steakhouse, Memphis Record Pressing, Worthington Chiropractic-Bartlett, First Horizon Bank, and Dobbs Brothers Chevrolet of Bartlett. Adult and regular lemonades will be available from Nichole Squared, and Meddlesome Brewing Company will be on site for beverages. Food trucks will be on hand. Attendees may bring chairs and coolers, and dogs are welcome.

Enjoy a spirited Pilates session by the river with instructor Bridget. These no cost Monday sessions take place beneath the Sunset Canopy at Tom Lee Park. Bring a mat, a towel, and water for comfort, and look forward to a welcoming vibe. On some dates the class moves to River Garden because of festivals in the park, and there are no sessions on certain holidays.
