The Smelter City Scamper is a community-focused race and fundraiser supporting food access and the Anaconda Community Market. Family Fun Fest returns to Helena as a free celebration of family health and wellness with a Wild West theme at Centennial Park and Great Northern Carousel Park. A prehistoric-themed day of adventure invites Cub Scouts, elementary-age children, and their families to explore dinosaurs through hands-on games, crafts, STEM challenges, outdoor activities, and fossil digs. Participants can learn about prehistoric creatures and enjoy Scouting activities with a dinosaur twist, offering discoveries for every young adventurer. In Helena, this day-long A Taste of History program explores how food signaled status in the historic West. Set at the Original Governor's Mansion Carriage House, the experience contrasts refined dining with the hard work that made it possible. Stories of domestic labor and hospitality reveal how meals shaped identity and hierarchy in Helena’s past. Along the way, participants sample small tastings of period dishes to bring the past to life in a tangible and flavorful way. Attendees must register. Admission costs $75 for members and $80 for nonmembers, and participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to each location.

The Silver Bow Card Show brings a community trading card event to the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte, Montana. With more than 75 tables available for vendors, collectors can expect plenty to explore. Admission is free for the public. Vendors may reserve a table to sell.

This two day poker run features a point to point route that changes each day. Saturday begins at Jokers Wild and wraps up at Wise River Club, while Sunday starts at Wise River Club and finishes at Jokers Wild. Participants can take part both days or choose just one. SerbFest is an annual summer celebration hosted by Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Christian Church that highlights faith, heritage, and community. Ghost tours return to the Old Montana Prison with a guided paranormal investigation inside one of Montana’s most storied and reportedly haunted sites. Check in at the Visitor Center where a guide provides orientation and access to investigation equipment, or bring your own gear if preferred. The experience spans the prison grounds and select buildings, including rarely accessible spaces such as the Death Tower and the upper tiers of the Cell House. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the event, and attendees should bring a flashlight since parts of the investigation take place with the lights out. The minimum age is 15, and anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted. Tickets are $99, with a $2.97 fee for online purchases; the fee can be avoided by booking by phone with Addison at (406) 846-3111 ext 4. Refunds are not available within 30 days of the event. Each ticket also includes admission for either the same day or the following day to the Old Montana Prison & Auto Museum Complex by presenting the purchase receipt at the front desk.
