This weekend in Columbia Falls, MT

Team Immanuel Living will take part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lawrence Park in Kalispell. This gathering brings the community together to support care, research, and vital resources for families affected by Alzheimer’s. The schedule includes pre-walk activities, an opening program featuring the Promise Garden ceremony, and the walk that follows. Many participate to honor a loved one, stand with a friend, or contribute as caregivers, all with a shared focus on making a meaningful impact.

Held at Lawrence Park, the Flathead Valley Buddy Walk is a community celebration and the main annual fundraiser supporting people with Down syndrome and their families in Flathead and Lincoln counties. The event pairs a walk with family friendly fun like silent auctions, raffles, games, face painting, cornhole, and a variety of food and drinks. Proceeds help cover needs not supported by insurance, including medical appointments, travel reimbursement, cognitive devices, and therapeutic or other medical devices. Online registration is expected to open soon, and past efforts have already helped many local families.

The Flathead Pioneer Auto Club holds a monthly meeting focused on automobiles from any make that are 25 years old or older. Participants gather to share and discuss their interest in older vehicles.
