Agri Supply of Garner hosts a farm swap for North Carolina farmers and homesteaders, set up outdoors in the store’s parking lot. Attendees can meet fellow producers, set up their own space, and find new homes for animals. Animals available for swap or purchase may include chickens, roosters, sheep, turkeys, pigs, quail, goats, and hatching eggs, with all animals caged and in healthy condition. Dogs and cats are not permitted for sale. Local growers and homesteaders also bring fresh plants, crops, fruits, and homemade goods such as eggs, sourdough, and canned items, and several food trucks offer a range of meal options. Parking is free in the Agri Supply lot. Vendor participation is free; those interested can contact the Garner store at (919) 772-0865, speak with the event coordinator or store manager, and then await confirmation. If additional participation dates open, the team will reach out, and questions can be directed to Agri Supply.

This kid-friendly farm club invites children ages 5 and up to experience everyday farm life while building friendships with others who love animals, nature, kindness, and being outdoors. Sessions are led by Farmer Jules with occasional special guests. The fee is $15 per session, with a discount for multiple children and need-based scholarships available. Planet Peace Farm is an all-volunteer community organization focused on helping youth reduce stress, find inner peace, and develop confidence and compassion through meaningful farm experiences, and it also offers horsemanship and gardening lessons, meditation and mindfulness, family and homeschooling farm visits, outdoor yoga, one-on-one youth mentoring and internships, birthday parties, and picnic space.
