This weekend in Holly Springs, NC

This monthly club brings together women who want dedicated time to work on their own creative projects at Hickory Tavern Holly Springs. Participants bring what they love, whether that is scrapbooking, adult coloring books, planner pages, knitting, crocheting, or other hobbies and projects. Membership is month to month and secures a personal workspace, with capacity currently limited to 22 seats that are confirmed in the order payments are received. The cost is $33, which is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person to take the reserved spot. The fee covers the shared venue expense, three hours of crafting or gaming time, lunch, and complimentary water. Alcoholic beverages, soda, tea, and desserts are available at an additional cost. Members also receive access to a private Facebook group to stay connected between the monthly meetups.

North Carolina’s popular sing along rock show returns with The Tone Merchants at the helm. The band turns the audience into the chorus, encouraging everyone to sing along and become part of the performance. Bring your singing voice and a few friends for a high energy night of rock.

Deep 6 brings its Pearl Jam tribute to Tap Station in Apex, NC, delivering a night of grunge classics from Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, Silverchair, Candlebox, Screaming Trees, Mudhoney, and Bush. Flannel shirts, old sweaters, and Doc Martens fit the vibe as the band rolls out a signature Deep 6 rock show centered on the sounds that defined the era.

B-Sides Band brings a night of live music packed with upbeat energy, a strong sound, and a sing-along mix. The vibe works for hitting the dance floor or kicking back and taking in the show. It is also a simple way to support local live music with friends.

The group meets at Cleveland Draft House of Fuquay for a friendly euchre series during the fall season. Participation is free, and both teams and individual players are welcome. Partners are assigned at random each week, encouraging new pairings and fresh competition. Strategic play is rewarded, with Cleveland Draft House gift cards for the top three finishers.
