Join the Sneads Ferry Yacht Club for their 2nd Annual King Mackerel Tournament. This is a kingfish fishing contest where you can fish or just hang out at the marina. Entry is $100, and the top three biggest king mackerel catches receive payouts (50%, 30%, and 20%). There are also winner-take-all payouts for several categories. Lines go in at 7:00 AM, and the weigh-in takes place at Sneads Ferry Marina with scales opening at 3:00 PM and check-in required by 4:00 PM. A make-up day is set for August 9.
