This program welcomes participants of all ages when accompanied by an adult. The fee is $6 per child, and residents receive a discounted rate of $4.

A writers group at Farmville Library is open to adults from any genre and at any stage of experience. Participants can bring a notebook and pen or a laptop for drafting and discussion. Conversation covers writing, publishing, and related topics. The gathering offers a welcoming setting to practice your craft, exchange ideas, and develop as a writer.

Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis for a $10 fee per spot. Participants must bring water and shade for their animals, along with a suitable carrier for the trip home, with large animals exempt from the carrier requirement. Animals may not be displayed in cardboard boxes. Animals that are sick, injured, or too young to sell are not allowed. Cats and dogs are not permitted.

Enjoy a relaxed outing at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park featuring lunch and a hike. Families are welcome to attend, and participants will work on the Junior Ranger Patch program.
