Stephen Williams, Director of Music at St. Luke’s, performs selections including Carillon de Westminster, Impromptu, the Toccata in B minor, and the Organ Symphony No. 4, Op. 32. Violist Kate Middel appears as a special guest. Admission is free, and donations support Arts at St. Luke’s.

    The Soap Shack NC, LLC and Sawdust, Sparks, Stitches will be set up as vendors at the Salisbury/Rowan Farmers' Market with a broad selection of handmade goods. Shoppers can explore XL goat’s milk soaps in more than 40 scents along with goat’s milk laundry soaps, mop soaps, all purpose cleaners, bath bombs, bath salts, goat’s milk lotions, beard oils and beard balms, linen and room sprays, dog shampoos, lip balms, lip scrubs, car diffusers, wash rags, loofahs, and soy wax candles and melts. Their table also features farmhouse aprons, baby wash rags, bib and burp cloth sets, jar openers, tea towels, flower pots, dog bandanas, birdhouses, key wristlets, and bowl cozies. Everything is handmade from scratch on their farm by the two of them.

    The second annual Back to School Bazaar is a free community gathering that helps Rowan County families get ready for a new school year while connecting them with local organizations, programs, and resources for children from birth through high school. Expect complimentary school supplies, hot meals, and haircuts, along with entertainment, activities for all ages, and raffles and giveaways. Laptops from E2D will be available for $100, and local vendors and community resource groups will be present to share information and support. More than a supply pickup, this is a resource fair that brings together families, nonprofits, and supporters to help students start strong. Supplies, meals, haircuts, giveaways, and laptops are available in limited quantities while supplies last. Vendor and sponsor opportunities are available.
