Aimed at anyone curious about ranch roping, competitive arenas, or simply becoming a more versatile horseman, this session is conducted entirely on the ground with no horses. Expect individual coaching and unhurried practice as you work through rope handling and safety, building a loop, developing proper mechanics and timing, and learning to swing on a dummy. No experience is necessary, and ropes will be available to use. The clinic includes lunch and a dummy roping contest. The cost is $20 per participant, with free entry for Military and First Responders, and all proceeds support After Action Horsemanship League. Hosted at Encore Sporthorse. Mitch, a Texas native and active-duty Army servicemember stationed at Fort Bragg, brings years of ranching, cattle work, and team roping experience in North Carolina and Europe.
