Standard Tuning returns to Hudson NH Old Home Days for a third appearance, bringing energetic live entertainment to a family-friendly community celebration. The group is excited to be back, and the welcoming atmosphere suits all ages.

A weekly Pokemon League welcomes kids and adults for a free gathering centered on the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Abbie Griffin Park hosts the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department’s free Thursday Night Live summer concert series, offering live music in a variety of styles. This edition features children’s performer Sammie Haynes, whose award-winning songs have delighted young listeners and their families from New England to the West Coast for more than 30 years, with recognition that includes Parent’s Choice and National Parenting Publications awards. She enjoys engaging with kids during performances and uses humor to keep the experience lively. Based in southern Maine, she also teaches Music Together and performs adult music with her Rhythm and Roots and Texas swing band, MAINESQUEEZE, as well as with her husband, singer-songwriter Cormac McCarthy. Presented in partnership with the Merrimack Public Library, this children’s concert concludes the library’s summer reading program.
