Join a free, public workshop focused on AI safety topics, with no technical background required. You’ll explore what it would mean for machines to become superintelligent across many areas, why advanced systems could be difficult to control, and how risks can arise if an AI’s goals don’t align with human values. The session includes guided, interactive discussion, small-group activities, and brief demonstrations to make the ideas feel grounded in real systems.

An annual, free, outdoor, family-friendly festival celebrates the arts, culture, and history of New Brunswick and Middlesex County. The lineup includes live music and dance from Warehouse Collective, Dance Warz, New Brunswick Brass Band, Grupo de Danza Folklórica La Sagrada Familia, and State Theatre New Jersey’s 2026 Jersey Talent winner, tap dancer John Boudouvas, with more performers to be announced.
