Asbury Park Bazaar, Convention HallJune 2026 Women’s Healing Circle- Reiki & Sound Healing
At Sisters of The Conscious Soul, this women’s healing circle offers a nurturing space of sisterhood and shared intention centered on Shamanic Reiki and a restorative sound bath for body, mind, and spirit. The gathering invites the gentle release of stagnant or heavy energy and the welcoming of fresh life force, with Ancient Language Transmission offered as sacred prayer to support the soul beyond the thinking mind. A sound healing journey with gongs, drums, crystal bowls, chimes, crystal harp, and vocal toning encourages deep relaxation, vibrational balance, and energetic restoration. Loving spiritual support is called in with respect and intention, including ascended masters, personal guides, guardian angels, and the protectors and ancestors of the land, with care given to safety and sovereignty. Participants explore guided visualizations and soul-centered practices to reconnect with intuition, authentic voice, and womb wisdom, and they are witnessed in a compassionate circle that values presence over pressure. For comfort, attendees are encouraged to bring a pillow and a water bottle, along with optional items such as an eye mask, journal, shawl or blanket, and a small sacred item or written intention for the ceremonial altar, and to arrive with an open heart and willingness to receive.
Sisters of The Conscious SoulSacred Solstice Pouches
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a hands-on ritual in the Calgo Gardens greenhouse. Create a small botanical pouch attuned to the season while moving through meditation, reflection, and creative practice. The solstice signals a bright seasonal shift and a moment to pause with purpose. Participants are led through a grounding meditation and gentle intention setting to clarify how they want to move through the coming months. Then they hand print a fabric pouch with seasonal symbols and nature-inspired designs, pressing ink into cloth as a simple ritual. Each pouch is then filled with summer plants chosen to support the transition into the sunlit months and to serve as a personal reminder of intentions. The gathering encourages slowing down, reconnecting with nature’s rhythms, and making something meaningful by hand. All materials are included, and no art background is needed. This experience is open to everyone. Wear clothing that can get inky or bring an apron or smock. Facilitated by Mary Gambarony and Kim Bradle. Mary is a licensed, board-certified art therapist, a certified Jungian life coach, and an artist with more than three decades of experience helping individuals, groups, and organizations use creative expression for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Kim has more than twenty years of study, practice, and teaching in Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness, offering embodiment practices rooted in the Yogic tradition while weaving in ritual and plant wisdom to cultivate awareness of the sacred in everyday life.

Long Branch Ocean Swim | Saturday - June 20 (6am)
Take on an open water session at Long Branch Beach in Pier Village guided by Coach Brian Shea. Swimmers follow a buoy-marked loop of roughly 500 meters just offshore, creating a practical setting to practice sighting and navigation. The session welcomes athletes who can confidently swim more than 500 yards unassisted in deep water, and you can cover as much or as little distance as you like within the session. For safety, at least two lifeguards will be in the water on rescue boards or kayaks. Water temperatures are typically in the mid-50s to mid-60s Fahrenheit, so a wetsuit is recommended if you are sensitive to cold. Wetsuit rentals are available and billed at $25 per day. The swim may be canceled if ocean or weather conditions are unsafe. Metered parking is available around Pier Village. A suggested donation of $10 per swim, or three swims for $20, helps cover lifeguards and equipment, with a labeled canister on the lifeguard stand at the meeting point. Meet at the lifeguard stand at Pier Village. If you are new to open water, beginner clinics are available to help build confidence. Coach Brian brings decades of experience as an athlete, coach, and consultant. He founded Jersey Shore Masters and has competed from 5K through ultra-distance events and Ironman, including Hawaii, with personal bests of 15:54 for 5K, 2:49 for the marathon, and 9:31 for Ironman. His results include multiple top-ten finishes at the 8-mile Swim for Alligator Light and podiums at the United States Lifesaving Association National Championships. He is a certified coach who has developed training and sports nutrition plans for athletes from beginners to professionals.
Long Branch Beach - Pier VillageBeginner Ocean Swim Clinic: Saturday - June 20 (645am)
Build confidence in the ocean with a beginner-friendly swim clinic at Pier Village in Long Branch. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so email Coach Brian at Brian@JSMswim.com to confirm a spot or ask questions. The session starts with a brief shoreline overview of open water basics, then moves into the surf to practice skills along a buoy-marked course set roughly 40 to 50 yards apart. Close supervision is provided with lifeguards in the water alongside Coach Brian. The route is about 150 yards and is typically repeated, so participants should already be able to swim at least 150 yards continuously in a pool without touching the bottom or wall. A suggested donation of $20 supports lifeguards and equipment, with contributions collected in a labeled canister at the lifeguard stand where the group meets. Wetsuits are strongly encouraged due to cool water temperatures, and rentals are available for $25 per day; include your height, weight, and the day you need the suit, and try to arrange it at least 48 hours in advance. The clinic welcomes all genders and a range of abilities, focusing on core open water skills to ease first-race nerves and prepare swimmers for local ocean swims and upcoming events. Metered parking is available in and around Pier Village. The clinic is led by Brian Shea, head coach and founder of Jersey Shore Masters, an experienced endurance athlete and certified coach with multiple Ironman finishes, top ten results at the nine-mile Swim for Alligator Light, and podium placements at the United States Lifesaving Association National Championships.

Middletown Arts CenterThe Breeders
The Breeders take the stage at the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on the Basie Center campus, bringing together Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs, and Jim Macpherson. This original lineup first performed in 1992 in a snooker hall behind a rugby club in northern England, then quickly supported Nirvana in Dublin and Belfast and appeared at Glastonbury before heading to San Francisco to record Last Splash after a run of sold-out U.S. shows. Powered by the instantly recognizable single Cannonball and its video directed by Kim Gordon and Spike Jonze, the album went platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom and drew wide acclaim for its blend of dreamy melodies, gritty momentum, and eerie textures. Marking the album’s 30th anniversary, a new analog remaster cut at half speed at Abbey Road uses rediscovered original tapes and adds two session-era tracks, Go Man Go and a J Mascis–led version of Divine Hammer titled Divine Mascis, with artwork reimagined by Chris Bigg. Featuring the band’s classic lineup, this performance highlights the chemistry and songs that made Last Splash a touchstone of the 1990s.

West End ParkNorth 2 Shore Presents Winyah
Presented by North 2 Shore, Winyah brings a bold mix of Southern spirit and indie rock grit to The Stone Pony. Formed in 2023 and named after the South Carolina bay where four of the five members grew up, the group draws on humid nights, endless highways, and small-town tensions to shape its sound. When an unexpected Bonnaroo opportunity arrived with only three songs and five weeks to prepare, the band camped on a friend’s couch, rehearsed in a borrowed warehouse, and crafted its debut, Lot to Learn, from the ground up. That sprint sparked 25 million global streams, sold-out tours, and festival spots ranging from Bonnaroo to Lollapalooza. This all ages show spotlights Winyah’s raw, restless southern rock energy at The Stone Pony.
The Stone PonyLaMP
Presented by North 2 Shore and ElmThree, LaMP brings the collaborative power of drummer Russ Lawton, guitarist Scott Metzger, and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski to Wonder Bar. Metzger, a member of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and praised by The Village Voice for his range, locks in with the long-running rapport between Lawton and Paczkowski, developed in Trey Anastasio Band and their duo project Soule Monde. Their live sound highlights the conversation between swirling organ and clavinet, agile Telecaster lines, and a rock-solid backbeat, a blend they have taken to stages across the East Coast whenever schedules allow. Admission is limited to ages 21 and over.

Time in the goat pen offers relaxed moments to laugh and bond with some especially playful residents. The second day features a tie-dye activity where participants bring an item to personalize, and the experience concludes with a celebratory frozen treat. The emphasis is on building responsibility, kindness, and lasting respect for animal welfare. This is a drop-off experience for ages 9–14, priced at $150 per child, with limited spots to keep interactions personal. All interactions happen on the animals’ terms, and paddocks may be closed at any time to ensure the well-being of both residents and guests since the sanctuary is a rescue rather than a petting zoo. Take part in an organized open water ocean swim off the beach at Pier Village in Long Branch, led by coach Brian Shea. The session is intended for swimmers who can cover more than 500 yards unassisted and feel comfortable in deep water. The route follows an approximately 500 meter loop marked by buoys, creating a straightforward setting to practice sighting and navigation. You can swim as little or as much as you wish within an hour. Safety is a priority, with at least two lifeguards in the water on a board or kayak. Swimmers meet at the lifeguard stand on the beach at Pier Village, and metered parking is available nearby. A suggested donation of 10 dollars per swim, or three swims for 20 dollars, helps cover lifeguards and equipment, with contributions collected in a labeled canister at the lifeguard stand. Water temperatures often range from 55 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit, so a wetsuit may be useful for those who get cold. Wetsuit rentals are available and billed at 25 dollars per day; include your height, weight, and the date needed when arranging, and try to set this up well in advance. Although the swim is guarded, participants should be self sufficient and not require assistance except in emergencies. Those brand new to open water may wish to start with a beginner clinic. Plans may change if weather or ocean conditions are unfavorable, so check for updates beforehand. Joe Palaia ParkHot Tuna
Hot Tuna brings decades of creative musicianship to the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on the Basie Center campus, led by the longtime partnership of guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Casady. Formed in the late 1960s as a separate outlet from their work in Jefferson Airplane, the project grew into a band known for spontaneity and constant reinvention. Their first release in 1970, recorded live, set the tone with performances that change from night to night and thrive on open‑ended interplay. Across more than a dozen albums, the music has shifted from acoustic blues to electric rock, including the heavier turn marked by America’s Choice, Yellow Fever, and Hoppkorv. Listeners embraced songs like Keep On Truckin, and the shows earned a reputation for extended improvisations and long, free-flowing sets. Onstage the group has appeared as an intimate duo or with rotating collaborators, yet the core remains the deep musical conversation between Kaukonen and Casady. Both have been honored with induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and they continue to let each song take shape through close listening and instinctive chemistry.
