Trainer and behaviorist Jeannette Rybak leads a trick training class that blends play and learning for dogs and their people. Starting with simple behaviors and building toward flashier routines, dogs can practice cues like high five, backing up, weaving through legs, barking on cue, spinning, crawling, going through a tunnel, and playing dead. The curriculum focuses on mental enrichment, confidence building, and strengthening the bond between dog and handler. Because each trick is tailored to individual abilities, it offers rewarding engagement for senior dogs, those with physical limitations, and dogs that are more timid, while remaining enjoyable for all. Pricing is $200 per month for four classes or $35 per class on a pay-as-you-go basis. In months with five Wednesdays, participants may choose any four sessions to attend. Enrollment is limited to six dogs per session. Please bring a standard, non-retractable leash and plenty of tasty treats for training.

Ivins Outreach Center is hosting a community health event that brings mobile mammography for adults 40 and older together with a vaccination clinic for anyone age 3 and up. Be 7 Athletics presents a fall flag football league featuring dedicated divisions for boys and for girls. Open to ages 7 through 18, the program blends fun with healthy competition and skill development, and it welcomes first-time players as well as returning athletes. Be 7 Athletics offers an all-girls and all-boys flag football league for ages 7 to 18 at Joseph Lawrence Park. The fall season features seven games and focuses on growth both on and off the field, emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, hard work, discipline, resilience, and fun. Registration is first come, first served, and space is limited. The program encourages less screen time and more time playing. Participants who missed the spring or summer leagues can use this season to get involved and experience what Be 7 Athletics provides.

The 33rd annual clambake brings food, live bands, and a welcoming community atmosphere. It is open to everyone, and friends and family are welcome.
