Magic: The Gathering players are invited to a free card trading and cash buying session focused on turning extra cards into money or store credit. Cards are processed by J, Henry, or Jessie, and first-time sellers are asked to review and sign a brief agreement outlining the terms. Participants are asked to bring at least $100 worth of cards, with payment issued by check. Bulk, defined as cards valued under one dollar, is not accepted. Offers are based on the store’s selling price at either 40 percent or 60 percent, depending on whether a card is on the buylist. The buylist covers non-foil, non-promo singles valued at $15 or more, and purchases are not calculated using TCG low to resell at mid, market, or high. This is not an appraisal service, so every card submitted is treated as a trade-in, and sellers are expected to know current values, such as receiving $6 for a card the store sells at $10. Larger collections may require additional processing time and are handled on a case by case basis. Store credit trades are available at 60 or 80 percent.
