Demos, purchasing, and open play are all supported, and loaner forces can be provided for those who want to try a system. A summer plan features three games, with the first using a different system, the second focusing on fewer points, and the third moving to larger point totals. For questions, the points of contact are Sean Forte or William Prescott.

MTG: Friday Night Money - Cash for Cards!
Magic players can turn extra cards into cash at the weekly Friday Night Money card buying program. Entry is free, and the focus is on cash buys and card trades. Upon arrival, sellers work with staff members J, Henry, or Jessie, and first-time participants review and sign a brief agreement covering the basic terms. To participate, bring at least 100 dollars in card value. Bulk cards worth less than a dollar are not accepted. Payment is issued by check. Offers are based on what the store would sell the card for, typically 40 percent or 60 percent depending on whether the card is on the store buylist. The buylist consists of non-foil, non-promo cards valued at 15 dollars or more. This is not an estimation service. Submitting a card means agreeing to sell it, and sellers are expected to research values in advance, for example accepting 6 dollars for a card the store prices at 10 dollars. Offers are not calculated using TCG low to resell at mid, market, or high. Larger collections may take additional time to process and will be handled case by case, which can extend into the weekend or longer. Trades for store credit are also available at 60 or 80 percent.

Because this is a prerelease-style event, tickets are intended for players who plan to participate. Using the event only to obtain product is discouraged and may affect access to similar events in the future, and dropping before playing a round can disrupt pairings and the overall experience for the community.

" WHAT'S YOUR TAKE!! LIVE "
A reimagined musicians summit brings drummers, keyboardists, and bassists together for an energized program of live showcases, friendly competition, collaboration, education, and networking. The focus is unity, inspiration, and professionalism, with the thrill of competition still very much alive. Competitors receive a list of popular songs ahead of time so they can craft their own arrangements and step onstage prepared to share their voice. Performances are evaluated for musicality, creativity, timing and groove, stage presence, dynamics, audience connection, and the strength of each arrangement, creating an experience that feels like a concert blended with a professional summit rather than a standard talent show. Every participant leaves with real value through professionally captured content that can support careers, including a live audio recording, video clips, and when available, edits sized for social media. Between competitive rounds, free workshops and demonstrations keep the energy up, with sessions for drummers, keyboard players, and bassists that dive into pocket and chops, live dynamics, touring readiness, chord voicing and synth layering, live arranging, groove, tone, and locking in with the band. Respected working musicians serve as judges, bringing credibility from backgrounds that include touring, session work, church music, music direction, production, and education. Prizes combine sponsored gear and services such as instruments, accessories, audio software, studio time, and gift cards with a participation pot funded by reasonable entry fees, which also help cover event operations. The audience experience is designed to be immersive from start to finish, with hosts guiding the flow, interactive moments, vendor activations, networking opportunities, food options, open jam spaces, and behind-the-scenes coverage. Production emphasizes strong sound, smooth transitions, and high engagement on and off the stage, followed by quick-turn highlights, winner announcements, clips, and testimonials. The long-term vision is to build a recurring ecosystem where musicians perform, learn, connect, collaborate, and grow. Year one focuses on a strong local foundation, year two aims for regional expansion and increased sponsorship, and over time the goal is to stand among the leading musician-centered events in Las Vegas and across the Southwest. The winner earns bragging rights and more.
