Fall Big Basement Book Sale

At Boulder City Library, the twice-yearly Big Basement Book Sale features silent auction baskets, hidden treasures, unique and vintage items, and a large selection of books. Parking on the east side of the library provides direct access to the basement. The books come from donations and library discards and are organized by genre and author, including mystery, nonfiction, classics, science fiction and fantasy, romance, horror, craft, cooking, travel, western, children's, and young adult. Individually packaged toiletry items will be collected for the Take What You Need (TWYN) program, which benefits community members in need. Proceeds from this event support the library, helping fund items such as sewing machines, craft supplies, an inflatable movie screen, and other resources for the library and community.
