Participants can reserve a display space in advance or take part on a first come, first served basis. To keep opportunities open for more creators, each artist may select one panel per weekend.

Field Van features its newest trail-ready vans, with floor plans and components available to examine up close, providing a clear look at how these vehicles are crafted for tough terrain and practical exploration. Company staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions, discuss design details, and meet other fans of overlanding and off-road travel.

A back to school ice cream social and school shopping event where families can pick out any missed school supplies with their kids at no cost. Attendees can also receive a bag of groceries, enjoy ice cream together, and connect with other families. Registration is available.

Free admission and family friendly, the 2nd Annual Electrical Apprentice Competition brings the community together at Craft Wine & Beer in Reno to see Northern Nevada’s top electrical apprentices demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and craftsmanship in a live contest. Hosted by Northern Nevada IEC, the event highlights the future of the industry while creating community impact. Funds raised support Austin’s House and Eddy House, two Northern Nevada organizations that provide critical resources, housing, and support services for youth and young adults. Expect an energetic showcase with raffle prizes, food and drinks available, and a chance to connect with local contractors, industry professionals, community partners, and sponsors. There will also be opportunities to learn about careers in the skilled trades. Organizers are seeking event sponsors, raffle basket donations, volunteers, and community partners, and the gathering supports the next generation of skilled trades professionals while helping change lives in Northern Nevada.

The annual MRC River Auxiliary features a float down the Truckee River with drinks along the way. Participants plan to leave from Mayberry Park and finish at Wingfield, which has reopened, with about two and a half hours on the water. An after-party follows at Old Bridge Pub. To make shuttles easier, coordinate carpools and leave one car at Wingfield for every two to three cars at Mayberry. There is also an MRC Park Cleanup beforehand for those who want to take part.

The gathering concludes with an optional chance to share the card and its message in community, offering space for acknowledgment and connection. Please bring copies of photographs you would like to include, a journal, and an open mind. Participants leave with a meaningful keepsake, a stronger bond with the inner child, and guidance to carry forward.

Country music duo Midland headlines an afternoon show at Club Underground in Reno. The concert takes place at 3:00 PM local venue time.

Club Underground Megaplex hosts a live music showcase headlined by Midland, joined by Pecos and the Rooftops, Reed Peterson, Patrice, and Share the Fire. On the showroom stage, Morgan Mackenzie leads the bill with Dirt City in the lineup as well. Bowling for Dollars is a community fundraiser at the National Bowling Stadium that supports the Lawrence J. Weiss Hospice Guest House, Nevada’s first and only free hospice guest house providing compassionate, no-cost end-of-life care for patients and families. With 76 teams competing to bring in the most Dollars for Dignity, attendees can expect bowling, raffles, a silent auction, entertainment, and a 25/75 Cash Raffle offering chances to win thousands of dollars. Celebrate the wrap-up of the Boots Honky Tonk summer series with a riverside finale at Wingfield Park in Downtown Reno. Country artist Carson Chandler takes the stage for a live performance, and High Desert Country leads a free dance lesson open to all guests. Look forward to live music, dancing under the lights, local libations, and the signature Boots vibe that kept dancers moving all summer. It is a Western-style sendoff along the Truckee River that brings the community together for one last night of honky tonk energy.
