Set out on a sunset Erie Canal cruise aboard the Colonial Belle with live music by Bob Speigel and Rick Palumbo. The route begins in Fairport and travels eight miles to Pittsford, continues through Lock E32 as the captain explains how the lock works while the boat rises and descends about 25 feet, then returns the eight miles back to Fairport. The experience lasts three hours and pairs scenic views with a live soundtrack. An optional meal package is available and includes the cruise, entertainment, dinner, and the service charge, with sales tax on food applied separately. Dinner features Chicken Parmigiana, Pasta Marinara with a homemade meatball and sauce, salad, bread and butter, and a cookie. Vegetarian, gluten free, and other special dietary meals are available with advance notice. The optional dinner can be added up to the day before, or earlier if it sells out. Bagged snacks and a wide selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase from the fully licensed bar on board, and both cash and credit cards are accepted. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Children ages three and under sail free but must be booked so they can be included in the US Coast Guard passenger count. Public cruises require a minimum number of passengers to operate. Please check in at the dock before boarding. A friendly coffee-themed group ride departs from Schoen Place near Collins Pavilion, follows the canal path west to Lock 32 to meet additional riders, then continues toward the UR campus and into downtown along the west bank of the Genesee River. A mid-ride stop at Java’s provides a caffeine break before the route heads back on the river’s east side through the UR campus, reconnects with the canal path, and returns to the starting point. The exact route and downtown coffee destination may change slightly from week to week.

Sunny Mike Foundation hosts its 6th annual Golf Scramble at Victor Hills Golf Course, raising funds to continue a mission to elevate the minds, bodies, and spirits of Veterans by connecting them with the services, resources, and people they need. The event features 18 holes of golf with a team cart and unlimited lunch and dinner. Participants can take part in a silent auction, enjoy live music, and enter a 50/50 raffle. Bonus prizes recognize standout outfits, and games of skill offer additional ways to compete.

The tenth annual Cruisin' brings music, food, and drinks to the White Springs Fire Department. DJ Storm provides the soundtrack, Dom’s Original serves the eats, and Firehouse Distillery pours the beverages. Additional vendors will be announced.

The Colonial Belle will be decorated for the theme, and The Happy Pirates provide interactive entertainment. Pirate attire is welcome, and guests can bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the Pirate Toy Fund. Brunch is catered by Spinelli’s Catering and includes boneless chicken bruschetta, sausage patties, brunch potatoes, scrambled eggs with cheddar on the side, French toast with pure maple syrup, fresh fruit salad, assorted chef-made muffins, and a coffee and hot tea station. A fully licensed bar offers both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages along with bagged snacks for purchase, and cash and credit cards are accepted. Outside food or beverages, including bottled water, are not permitted due to state, county, and insurance regulations. Children ages 2 and under are free but must be booked to meet US Coast Guard passenger requirements. The Ontario County Chamber presents a Headshot Happy Hour at Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park in Canandaigua. Gabrielle Plucknette Photography will be on site to photograph participants. Each attendee receives a 10 to 15 minute session with Brie, will have several headshots taken, and can choose one image for editing. Guests may arrive before their time slot or stay afterward to enjoy a glass of wine and connect with other participants. Space is limited to the first 12 registrants, with time slots selected during registration.

The selection ranges from approximately 2 by 3 feet up to about 10 by 14 feet, with additional options such as round and square rugs and table runners. Each piece is made by Bunyaad, a fair trade artisan group whose rugs are created by fairly paid adult artisans and known for enduring craftsmanship. The focus is on finding a rug that suits your space while supporting ethical labor standards and a more just marketplace. Bunyaad is a member of the Fair Trade Federation. Inventory can be previewed in advance, and shopping is available year round.

At Rio Tomatlan, an open mic invites area musicians to share original songs and familiar covers while guests enjoy Mexican entrees. Meyer & McGuire start the event with an opening set, then the stage is open to the participants. Food and beverages are available throughout. DSP Shows presents an evening with Graham Nash at The Smith Opera House in Geneva, NY.
