Admission is free and open to all ages.

The 24th Annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY brings a vibrant celebration to Buffalo as participants make their way from Niagara Square to Porter Avenue. Festivities continue back at Niagara Square with food, entertainment, and a concert, creating a family-friendly gathering that honors Puerto Rican and Hispanic culture across Western New York.

Enjoy a live performance by the Ladies First Jazz Quartet, a lively ensemble from the Ladies First Jazz Big Band, known for earning awards. Admission is free, with food available for purchase. Attendees may bring a chair, settle in, and take in jazz along with other musical selections.

Silent Legacy Band pays tribute to the music of Melissa Etheridge as part of WNY Women of Rock & Blues. The program brings together more than 20 women musicians from Western New York for live rock and blues, with food and drinks available at Diamond Hawk Golf Course & Pub. The event includes a basket raffle and a 50/50, and all proceeds benefit the Family Justice Center and Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Joe Nichols, Phil Vassar, and Mark Wills come together at the Erie County Fair as part of the Channel 4 Concert Series. The Buffalo News Grandstand hosts a showcase of country favorites, featuring hits like "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," "19 Somethin'," and "Just Another Day in Paradise" on one stage.

UltraViolet takes the stage on the patio at RationAles with a set packed with hip hop, R&B, pop, and rock favorites from the 1990s through today. The Buffalo cover band appears as part of the RationAles Live Music Series, supported by the Eric Houlahan State Farm Agency and presented with EWM Promotions. Admission is free.

Back at the South Line Fire Hall Summer Bash, this 90s Night brings Mayday Buffalo together with Hayley Lampart and The Hitmen Horns for an evening packed with singalong, party, and dance hits from the decade across every genre. Fresh food from the grill and ice cold drinks will be available, setting the tone for a laid-back summer community gathering.

At West Herr Riviera Theatre, DSL Dire Straits Legacy revives the iconic songs of Dire Straits with musicians who recorded and toured with the band more than three decades ago. With the Dire Straits catalog surpassing 120 million albums sold worldwide, this concert features longtime members such as Alan Clark, the group’s first keyboardist, a Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member who joined in 1980, remained until the 1992 breakup, and co-produced On Every Street. The lineup also includes Phil Palmer and Danny Cummings, both heard on On Every Street, along with Mel Collins, who appeared on the singles Love Over Gold and Twisting by the Pool, and all three have performed on multiple global tours with Dire Straits. Rounding out the band are Steve Walters, with credits that include Amy Winhouse, James Taylor, Everything but the Girl, and George Michael, Primiano Di Biase, and frontman Marco Caviglia, widely considered the foremost authority on Mark Knopfler’s distinctive guitar style. The set draws from six platinum albums and highlights favorites such as Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms, Tunnel of Love, and more.

Jeff Miers hosts Off Script Saturday, an improv-inspired music series that takes place every third Saturday of the month at Penny Lane. Admission is $10 at the door.
