Stained Glass Hummingbird Workshop
Craft a stained glass hummingbird at Latitude 42 Taphouse while learning the copper foil method, then solder your piece with guidance from Erica Unterwoman of Aubergine Glass & Jewelry. Each ticket includes one complimentary drink. Color selections will vary. If you use reading glasses, bring them along. This workshop is designed for adults and for ages 13 and up when accompanied by a guardian. Advance purchase is required and tickets are nonrefundable. Cost is $60 per person.
Latitude 42 TaphouseChunky Knit Throw
Settle in at Latitude 42 Taphouse for a hands-on workshop where you will create a chunky knit throw with guidance from start to finish. Each participant receives five bundles of yarn and instruction, with additional yarn available to purchase if you want a larger blanket. The cost is $80, and the first beverage is free. When registering, note your preferred color in the comments. Choices include ivory, beige, sage, spa blue, soft pink, white, country blue, brown, black, orange, cranberry, burgundy, and multicolor, and you can mix shades. It is a welcoming setting for family and friends and a chance to meet new people. Please note that refunds are not offered, though credit will be provided toward a similar workshop.

Across New York, thousands of volunteers contribute their time to preserve the beauty of state parks and historic places, and friends groups and community members play a vital role in keeping them clean, welcoming, and well maintained. Here, the focus is on Horseheads, with a goal of gathering residents to enhance parks in town while encouraging collaboration and community pride.
