Return to Self: A Sound Bath for Healing & Hope
A restorative sound bath centered on healing and hope, created by a host with a personal commitment to domestic violence recovery, takes place in the 200 Lounge at The Federal Building. The gathering features guest speaker Susan Moore Daubner, Esq., with energy healing by Renas Spiritual Apothecary, and a portion of the proceeds supports the Catholic Charities Domestic Violence Program. Participants can slow down and reconnect in a supportive setting that also gives back to the community. Admission is offered on a sliding scale of $10 to $25, pay what you can. Bring a mat, pillow, blanket, or a chair for comfort. Everyone is welcome, and attendees are encouraged to come as they are.
The Federal BuildingSummer Camp at TLL
Keep kids engaged with a summer camp that plans each week around a unique theme, featuring hands-on activities, creative crafts, energetic games, and time to explore an indoor playground. Enrollment is available in full or half day formats. An early booking price is $250 for full day and $130 for half day per child for the week, with discounted rates for siblings on full day and additional savings for members. A 50 percent deposit is due at the time of booking, and full payment is required before attendance. Camp days are supervised by trained, reliable staff in an air conditioned setting, which helps avoid weather related cancellations due to heat or rain. Kids can strengthen existing friendships or make new ones in a welcoming environment. Participants must be fully potty trained and should bring a water bottle each day.
2026 Summer Movie Express (SMX) Program at REGAL
Regal brings back its Summer Movie Express with a family friendly lineup at participating theatres across the country. Across eleven weeks, two PG rated movies play each Monday through Thursday with tickets priced at $1. Attendees can also take $3 off a Snack Pack that includes a junior sized drink, popcorn, and fruit gummies, or apply the same discount to a cup of Dippin’ Dots. The season’s films include Sing paired with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Kung Fu Panda 4 with David, KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along with The Wild Robot, The Bad Guys 2 with The Garfield Movie, A Minecraft Movie with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, How to Train Your Dragon with Sonic the Hedgehog 3, a title to be announced alongside Scoob!, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants with Animal Farm, Paddington in Peru with Dog Man, Charlie the Wonderdog with Despicable Me 4, and classics The Sandlot with Muppets: Treasure Island. Some locations may extend the program by one or two weeks to align with local school schedules. Advance purchase is available at theatre box offices and kiosks as well as through the Regal mobile app, and Regal Unlimited members can reserve SMX tickets as part of their subscription.
Open Resource Center
AIM Independent Living Center's Open Resource Center offers free access to laptops and internet, and walk-ins are welcome. Advocates are available to help people search for housing, apply for benefits, and connect to services. Support is also offered for obtaining identification, Social Security cards, and birth certificates, although associated fees are not covered by AIM. Additional services such as resume building, SNAP assistance, and health insurance enrollment are available by appointment. For more information call 607-962-8225.
