The route travels from Mullholland Rd Boat Launch in Painted Post, NY to Conhocton Street Boat Launch in Corning, NY. A learning segment is planned, with the specific topic to be announced. Advance registration is necessary. Kayak rentals are available, or participants may bring their own.

Sessions continue in light rain and are canceled in the event of storms or heavy rain, and themes may change based on weather, materials, and staff availability. This program is supported by the Tompkins County Tourism Program and the Legacy Foundation.

Hosted by IdleBoys Club, this first annual celebration brings a wide range of builds together at JAMS Fitness in Elmira, NY for a full day focused on cars, community, and friendly competition. Food trucks will be on site, a live DJ will keep the energy up, and a full bar will be available for guests 21 and over. The day includes awards and contests such as Best in Show, Car Limbo, and a rev off. Habitat's Pints for a Purpose brings the community together at Latitude 42 Taphouse to raise funds for affordable housing through Chemung County Habitat for Humanity. A golf tournament at Shepard Hills Country Club welcomes two-person teams and uses a shotgun start. The field is limited to 64 teams. Entry is $200 per team and includes green fees, a cart, skins, a tee gift, and dinner after the round. Non-golfers may attend the dinner for $25. Teams are placed into Male/Male, Female/Female, or Mixed divisions, with flights set based on the makeup of the field and cash prizes awarded in each flight. You may request to play with another twosome. Registration is valid only when payment is submitted, and entries received after the 64-team limit will go on a waitlist for possible openings. This is a monthly horror book club for adults where you’ll explore new horror authors, with Stephen King excluded. In conjunction with the exhibit Fighting for Our Nation, this lunchtime talk explores Elmira’s contributions to the Civil War through the perspectives of volunteers associated with Elmira’s Civil War Prison Camp. Learn the basics of kayaking at a beginner workshop held at Grove Street Boat Launch. No prior experience is required. Kayaks and life jackets are provided, and personal gear may be used if preferred. Instruction takes place within sight of the launch, and wearing a life jacket is mandatory. Please meet at the concrete boat launch in the parking area near the pavilion. Families are welcome. A parent or guardian must stay with their child throughout the session. Children 12 and under must share a tandem kayak or a canoe with a parent or guardian, and two tandem kayaks are available. Youth older than 12 may use a single kayak. Pre-registration is required.

Golfers gather at Dry Brook Golf Course & Restaurant for a memorial scholarship tournament that tees off in a shotgun format.
