Join Play Hooray for a fun babies and toddlers session with Molly Mouse, featuring lots of movement and singing. This program is recommended for children ages 6 months through 5 years. Registration is required, and registration is closed because the event is full. Photos taken during the program may be used for Library purposes and promotion.

Join a family-friendly birding program to learn how to spot birds. You’ll start with tips for identifying birds, then head out for a walk through the arboretum to look for them in action. This program is designed for children ages 6 and up. Tickets are $4 per person upon arrival, and there is also a $8 parking fee. Space is limited and reservations are required, with doors at 9:45 AM. Please try to arrive about 10 minutes early.

Homebrew Music presents a live set by Johnny Rain Band at Sands Point Preserve, staged at the Ice House, the new outdoor gathering space in the woods behind Castle Gould. Admission to the performance is included with park entry, and parking costs $15.00 per car. Weather permitting, attendees can relax on lounge seating by the pond, explore the trails, and enjoy music curated by Homebrew Music that spotlights local artists on select Sundays throughout spring and summer.

Craft-loving kids can take part in a summer workshop that mixes music, creativity, and cool indoor comfort while making art with friends. Each session guides participants through two art projects and offers free time to craft or draw. Activities rotate through mosaics, ceramics, canvas painting, clay, wood, fiber arts, watercolor, and guided drawing. Weather permitting, there is a quick mid-session snack and stretch outside to recharge and get moving. This installment features the Culinary Canvas theme. Across the season, additional weekly themes include Meet the Masters, Trendy Friends, Ocean Adventure, Mystical and Magical, Fashion Week, and Color Lab, with Trendy Friends returning later.

Explore hands-on ancient technologies and outdoor skills at a camp focused on Native American culture and the natural world. Try spear throwing with an atlatl, learn to make fire without matches, and practice building a safe campfire along with basic survival know-how. Visit the beach to see natural clay deposits, process the clay, and try pottery-making. Enjoy games and storytelling, learn about the importance and uses of trees, and practice animal tracking. Activities also include campfire cooking and foraging with native foods.

The 115th Annual Feast of the Assumption offers a welcoming mix of activities for all ages. Admission is free, with live music from the Revelators Rock Band, plenty of food and drinks featuring homemade Italian specialties prepared by the Dell'Assunta Kitchen, and a variety of entertainment, rides, and games.
