Live music sets the scene at Main Street Beach as the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce presents the Live at the Lighthouse Music Series. This free community tradition pairs shoreline views of Lake Erie and the Vermilion Lighthouse with performances that range from classic rock and Jimmy Buffett tunes to polka, brass quintets, blues, soul, and favorites from the 60s and 70s. The series is supported by Ohio Lottery, Shores & Islands Ohio, Stein, Olsen & Stang, LLC, J.D. Indoor Comfort, Garage Bar & Grill, Smokin’ Joe’s at Country Breeze, Mesenburg Creative Catering, and Brewed Awakening Cafes, celebrating music on Vermilion’s waterfront.

Organized by the Sandusky Community Celebrations Council and sponsored by Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, the concert is free to attend and is set for the Sandusky Washington Park Gazebo, with any changes noted in case of inclement weather.

Music Bingo at Garage Bar & Grill in Vermilion turns the classic game into a soundtrack-driven challenge where songs take the place of numbers. These all-levels sessions are free and open to everyone, with donations appreciated and a portion benefiting the City of Vermilion Parks and Recreation department. Instruction is provided by Sarah Jordan and Katie Carp on a rotating schedule. To locate the class, enter through the main beach entrance and head right, east of the new comfort station.
