Meet at the park’s main lot by the large building next to the lagoon, reached by driving past the boat docks. If you are running late or need directions, contact Bernadette at 440-476-5131. She plans to attend each walk unless something unexpected arises. Walks take place in most weather and pause only for severe conditions like a developing snowstorm, heavy rain, or thunder and lightning. Trails can be muddy or challenging, so wear sturdy footwear and bring water and snacks for both people and dogs. For everyone’s safety, handlers of reactive dogs should bring appropriate training tools and use a red indicator such as a leash, bandana, or bow to signal that extra space is needed.
