Beyond treasure and renown, the unfolding story digs into the heroes’ backstories and the bittersweet core of the setting, building toward an effort to unseat the Sucrosian Overlord. The tone leans secretive and tense, with room for twists and betrayals. Social missteps might not draw blood immediately, yet an insult today could invite an attack in broad daylight later.
