    D&D Weekly Play

1010 Hedstrom Dr, Ashland · verified Sep 27
    See details

D&D with Joe invites players into a drop in, drop out campaign where everyone brings a 3rd level character. Space is limited to seven players. For questions or coordination, contact Joe Seals on Facebook or message @tydoxo (Jow S) on Discord. The adventure unfolds in a grim, politically tangled realm made entirely of sweets. Characters take on wildly risky errands for rival houses, scheme against villains and rulers to elevate their faction’s influence, or try to seize the candy-coated throne. Expect to gather resources, weave them into clever blueprints, slip into places that should be unbreachable, and nudge a fractured kingdom toward your designs. Smooth words can open doors, but knives may answer from the shadows... the Sucrosian way. The goal is to wander through strange locales, meet unusual figures, and collaborate to make this bizarre confectionary world feel vivid and grounded, even as you plunder it. Beyond treasure and renown, the unfolding story digs into the heroes’ backstories and the bittersweet core of the setting, building toward an effort to unseat the Sucrosian Overlord. The tone leans secretive and tense, with room for twists and betrayals. Social missteps might not draw blood immediately, yet an insult today could invite an attack in broad daylight later.

    D&D Weekly Play

The Eldritch Bastion, 1010 Hedstrom Dr, Ashland · verified Oct 2
    See details

Dungeons and Dragons play with Joe in a flexible drop in, drop out campaign. Bring a 3rd level character. There are up to seven player spots. For questions or coordination, contact Joe Seals on Facebook or @tydoxo (Jow S) on Discord. The campaign unfolds in a grim, politically charged fantasy realm built entirely from confections. Characters take on wildly ill advised errands for royal houses, outwit a gallery of villains and competing sovereigns, and work to expand their house’s influence or claim the sugary throne. Participants collect resources and weave them into elaborate schemes, devise inventive infiltrations of supposedly impenetrable strongholds, and try to steer a fractured kingdom to their designs. The aim is to roam through strange settings and meet unusual characters while collaboratively shaping a bizarre candied universe, all while uncovering why these heroes risk everything. As the story develops, backstories surface and the dark, chocolate filled heart of the world comes into focus, setting the stage for an eventual bid to topple the Sucrosian Overlord. The tone leans secretive and wary with a taste for betrayal. Thinking beyond the obvious and delivering surprises is encouraged, yet the group also works to make the weird feel internally consistent. Despite the kitschy veneer, danger is real and severe, and even small breaches of etiquette can echo into later, daylight consequences.
