The facility can be loud at times as some animals get excited around visitors. Natural feeding may be observed, including insects, fish, quail, and frozen-thawed rodents, and peanuts are also used on site. If weather restrictions from the Lucas County sheriff lead to a cancellation, the class will be rescheduled and details will be emailed by the Education Director.
