This weekend in Norwalk, OH

Instead of visiting the island this year, the plan features a scenic cruise along the coastal Ohio trail with a connecting southern segment. The drive begins at Lake Front Park in Huron, where restrooms are available before departure. Participants are asked to arrive with a full tank of gas. Brief breaks are planned in Milan, the birthplace of Thomas Edison, and at Marblehead Lighthouse. The route returns to Huron for a meal at the Huron Yacht Club. Lodging is available in town, including Rivers Edge Inn near the park and Yacht Club, though no rooms have been reserved, so attendees can choose their own accommodations if staying overnight. Rayz on the Bay hosts an acoustic trio featuring Shannon Martin-Paul of Rumours, Bill Stadler formerly of Dead Ahead Ohio, and Brian c. Paul of Stone Tribute Pilots. The set covers favorites from the early 70s through the 2000s, from Stevie Nicks and the Grateful Dead to STP, classic rock, blues, and 90s hits, all performed acoustically.
