In partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Health and Parents as Teachers, CCFI offers a Caregiver Connection series designed to help local families connect. This session focuses on sensory play for children ages 0 to 3, with caregivers and siblings included. Topics change each week, and there is no cost to attend. This month features a Halloween Fun theme. Advance sign-up is required.

Focused on a Pumpkin Spice and Positive Parenting theme, this Parent Cafe brings caregivers together for roundtable conversations about both the joys and the challenges of raising children in a welcoming space. It is free to attend, with dinner and childcare provided. Monthly themes keep the experience fresh, and door prizes add a bit of fun.

Red Coyote Run Club in Norman offers a free, social run, walk, or jog that welcomes every pace, along with dogs and strollers. The route covers roughly three miles, beginning at the Red Coyote Norman location, traveling through the University of Oklahoma campus, and returning to the store. Participants should acknowledge the waiver by signing in person or checking in through the Red Coyote app. A light is required for visibility. Anyone interested in having a beer should present a valid ID, and outside beer is not allowed.

Friday Night Magic features two ways to play. Casual Commander is a free, relaxed option with door prizes awarded later in the evening. A Booster Draft is also available, with entry fees that vary. Drafting typically uses the newest Standard set, though players can choose different sets and the entry will be adjusted accordingly. Promo packs are given out to Commander participants and tournament players. New players are welcome.

Celebrate a community showcase of cars, trucks, and bikes in Moore, Oklahoma, complete with food, games, raffles, and a silent auction. Everyone is welcome, whether you are bringing a vehicle or simply visiting with family. General admission without a vehicle is free. Vehicle registration offers early bird pricing at $20 for cars or trucks and $15 for bikes, with later entry at $25 for cars or trucks and $20 for bikes. Attendees help choose the winners, with cash awards for first, second, and third place. Proceeds support the Gospel of Life Association, a 501c organization dedicated to providing faithful, dignified end of life care for people in need.

St. Francis Animal Resource Center presents a pet first aid and CPR training at Norman Animal Welfare. The class is led by Dana Call, RVT,V TS (ECC), CHT-V, and focuses on basic first aid and CPR techniques for cats and dogs. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $20.
