Fall No Boundaries 5K Presented by Saucony

Fleet Feet Tulsa - KingsPointe Village (Tulsa, OK), Tulsa
    See details

Training for a race can feel daunting, which is why Fleet Feet’s No Boundaries program exists. Presented by Saucony, this offering at Fleet Feet Tulsa - KingsPointe Village in Tulsa focuses on removing barriers so goals like a first 5K, a stronger 5K, or a step toward a 10K feel within reach. Created and offered at Fleet Feet locations nationwide, No Boundaries takes a thoughtful approach that supports runners and walkers at every level. The program gathers everyone as one welcoming group, then breaks into smaller groups so each person trains with a plan that fits their current fitness. Participants work with a coach and learn from experienced mentors while building consistency and confidence. Expect practical guidance on running and walking basics, nutrition, gear selection, and injury prevention, plus a supportive community that keeps you moving. Those starting out or returning to activity can choose the Beginner 5K track, which uses progressive walk and run intervals to steadily increase stamina so finishing a 5K feels strong and rewarding. Clear pace options help you find the right fit. NB1 is a faster group, generally 11:00 to 12:30 minutes per mile, beginning with 30 seconds running and 1.5 minutes walking, then progressing to 3 minutes running with 1 minute walking by the end. NB2 follows the same progression at a slightly slower pace, about 12:30 to 14:00 minutes per mile. A dedicated walking group moves at roughly 14:00 to 16:00 minutes per mile throughout with no run intervals. The abbreviation mpm means minutes per mile, and shorthand like 30s/1.5 refers to run and walk durations in minutes and seconds. Group workouts meet at Fleet Feet KingsPointe Village and also rotate among Fleet Feet KingsPointe, Broken Arrow, and Cabin Boys Brewery in Downtown Tulsa.

    Fall No Boundaries 5K

Fleet Feet Tulsa - KingsPointe Village (Tulsa, OK), Tulsa · verified Oct 4
    See details

At Fleet Feet Tulsa - KingsPointe Village, this Fall No Boundaries 5K training program presented by Saucony focuses on removing obstacles so goals feel within reach for every runner and walker. As part of Fleet Feet’s nationally recognized No Boundaries program offered at stores nationwide, it emphasizes consistency, confidence, and fitness in a welcoming setting. Participants train with a coach, learn from experienced mentors, connect with an encouraging community, and receive practical guidance on gear selection, nutrition, injury prevention, and the fundamentals of running and walking. Workouts begin as one group and then split into smaller pace-based groups so everyone follows a plan that matches current ability. The beginner 5K option uses run and walk intervals that build gradually, helping participants finish feeling strong and proud. Pace group options include NB1 for faster paces of about 11:00 to 12:30 minutes per mile. This group starts with 30 seconds of running and 1.5 minutes of walking, progressing by the end of the session to intervals of 3 minutes running and 1 minute walking. NB2 follows the same progression at a slightly slower pace of roughly 12:30 to 14:00 minutes per mile. A dedicated walking group maintains a brisk effort around 14:00 to 16:00 minutes per mile without running. The shorthand mpm means minutes per mile, and 30s/1.5 indicates the run and walk durations in minutes and seconds. Workouts take place at Fleet Feet KingsPointe Village. Some Saturday sessions rotate among Fleet Feet KingsPointe, Broken Arrow, and Cabin Boys Brewery in downtown Tulsa.

Scuba Savvy, 2800 S 193rd East Ave, Broken Arrow · verified Oct 2
    See details

Prepare for ocean or deeper dives with an enriched air nitrox course focused on mixes up to 40 percent oxygen. Breathing a gas with less nitrogen can extend no-decompression time for photography or wreck exploration and can reduce overall nitrogen exposure, which helps shorten desaturation intervals. The curriculum explains how nitrox works, how it affects your body and the underwater environment, how to configure and use your gear with nitrox, and how to plan nitrox dives. A key hands-on skill is learning to analyze your own cylinder before every nitrox dive. Many resorts promote complimentary nitrox, yet operators typically require proof of nitrox certification to use it. As an SSI specialty, this class emphasizes essential skills in an enjoyable learning environment and does not include in-water sessions, making it convenient to finish before a dive trip through a combination of home study, short academic segments, and tank analysis practice.

Limestone Acres Dog Sports, 4589 E 474 Rd, Claremore · verified Oct 4
    See details

Four scent-centered challenges, one talented nose. Southern Plains Sport Dog Club offers a beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction to four NASDA Level One games, with brief instruction followed by ample working time for the dogs. Participants explore Trailing and Locating to follow a scent trail to quarry, Urban Locating to search a defined area for quarry, Shed Dog to locate a shed antler, and Lost Item to find an everyday object carrying the handler's scent. No NASDA background is required, and no prior dog sport experience or trained alert is needed. The focus is on giving dogs room to work, noticing how they communicate, and enjoying the process together. Working team slots are $85 and limited to eight teams, each with the chance to try all four games. Auditor slots are $30 and limited to ten people who can learn, ask questions, and watch dogs of varying experience levels. Capacity is limited, and registration must be completed in advance. Submitting the form alone does not hold a spot, as the club will follow up by email with registration status and payment details, and placement is confirmed once payment is received. When the workshop fills, a waiting list is maintained and no payment is required to be added. This outdoor, rain or shine workshop calls for preparation for weather and footing. Dogs not actively working should remain secured and under control. Instruction relies on positive reinforcement, and choke, prong, and electronic collars are not permitted during workshop activities. Cancellations more than 48 hours before the workshop receive a full refund, cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, and registrations are not transferable.

    5401 S Sheridan Rd, Tulsa · verified Oct 4
    See details

Guided by Stephanie, this movement space centers on music that stirs the body. Sound fills the room from the moment participants step in, creating a gentle landing before a carefully sequenced playlist rises through vigor, lets go into release, invites play, softens, and settles back home. No choreography is taught and there is no single right way to participate. Choose what feels right in the moment... move or be still, stretch, sweat, shake, hum or sing along, stay close to the floor, or rest. The soundtrack shapes the journey while each person decides how to follow it. This is a focused and respectful environment. The dance floor is quiet and free of phones, cameras, and street shoes, and talking is kept off the floor. Consent guides any partner interaction... seek a clear yes before approaching someone and honor a no immediately. No dance experience is needed. Bring water and wear comfortable clothing. Capacity is limited to 20. Community supported pricing allows participants to choose the rate that fits their situation, and the class experience is the same at every level.

Samhain 2026: Folklore, Divination & the Unexplained.

Sand Springs · verified Oct 4
    Free

Samhain 2026 at Earth & Soul in Sand Springs offers a full day immersed in folklore, divination, creativity, remembrance, storytelling, and curiosity about the unexplained. The day opens with a brief ceremony guided by Erin and concludes with a closing moment that incorporates what visitors shared through the Release experience. Five classes provide different ways to explore the season. Nevermore: Walking with Poe’s Shadows with Jean-Michele is a seasonal Tarot session using an Edgar Allan Poe themed deck to examine the cards through imagery and motifs suited to Samhain (30 dollars). Samhain Mask Making with Jean-Michele explores masks, symbolism, basic color theory, and the long link between masking, protection, and seasonal traditions, then invites participants to create and paint a mask to take home; materials are included (30 dollars). Crystal Ball & Spirit Boards with Annie introduces crystal gazing and spirit boards, their traditions, and practical approaches to working with them (30 dollars). Voices in the Static with Thunderbyrd and Zac offers an interactive introduction to the Estes Method and investigation etiquette, tools, and approaches, then moves into a live experiment that begins with a receiver demonstration and optional participant turns on the headphones, with observations documented and no single explanation required (30 dollars). Campfire Cryptids with Thunderbyrd and Annie gathers people around an indoor campfire setting for an hour of cryptid lore, unusual encounters, eyewitness stories, and creatures reported at the edges of the known, with an emphasis on storytelling over lecture (20 dollars). An all-day pass covers all five classes for 119 dollars, compared with 140 dollars if purchased individually, a savings of 21 dollars at 15 percent off. Individual admission is also available for each class. Four interactive experiences are open at no cost throughout the day, and no class purchase is required. At the remembrance altar, visitors can honor someone who has passed by bringing a photo, leaving a message, or simply taking a quiet moment. The Release station invites writing down what one is ready to let go, which is held during the day and woven into Erin’s closing ceremony. The Receive station provides a complimentary rune pull with Zac or a Tarot card pull with Kim, with the possibility of arranging a private reading separately. Discover, also called The Other Side, invites a reflective prompt and offers an anonymous reply left by a previous visitor, then encourages two written responses, one to keep and one to pass forward for someone else to find, keeping the exchange anonymous. No particular belief is required to participate. Attendees can choose a single class, enjoy the free experiences, or make a day of it.

    Iron & Wine

Guthrie Green, 224 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tulsa
    Free

Iron & Wine brings a free headlining set to Guthrie Green as part of the Off the Cuff Concert Series, marking a stop on the band’s world tour in support of a forthcoming album. Led by singer songwriter Sam Beam, the project is known for intimate writing and a warm blend of indie folk, folk rock, Americana, and lo fi. Opening performances come from folk duo DUG and singer songwriter Ken Pomeroy. DUG, composed of Conor “Lorkin” O’Reilly and Jonny Pickett, draws on both American and Irish folk traditions, weaving banjo and resonator tones with storytelling that balances humor and heart. Signed to Claddagh Records, the duo’s modern folk sound has reached audiences across Ireland, the United States, and Australia. Across eight albums, a host of EPs and singles, and volumes of an Archive Series, Iron & Wine has earned a devoted following with songs that feel cinematic and emotionally rich. The upcoming record, created with the same band behind Light Verse, serves as a companion piece and leans toward earthy textures and tactile detail. Built quickly with a spontaneous spirit, it explores folk rock alongside jazz tinged folk and Tropicalia, with themes of closeness, devotion, and emotional intensity. Guests include I’m With Her, with harmonies from Beam’s daughter, Arden, underscoring a collaborative approach and a deep love of making music. Ken Pomeroy delivers empathetic, rootsy indie folk shaped by Cherokee heritage and a clear soprano that can soothe or cut deep. Her latest album, Cruel Joke on Rounder Records, has drawn attention, and her songs appear on the Twisters soundtrack and Hulu’s Reservation Dogs. Touring highlights include runs with Lukas Nelson, Iron & Wine, and American Aquarium, along with appearances at Newport Folk and Telluride Bluegrass Festivals.
