Advance your skills at Beaver Lake with an SSI program that combines the Advanced Specialty Diver certification with four individual Specialty certifications. Training blends self-paced online study with in-person classroom time, a focused pool session, and instructor-led dives in open water. The standard set of specialties includes Deep Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, and Navigation, and there is flexibility to swap topics to match your interests, with choices like Night and Limited Visibility, Search and Recovery, Photography, Dry Suit, and Wreck. The format typically features one evening dedicated to Nitrox, a pool evening centered on buoyancy, and another evening to complete the remaining two specialties, followed by a weekend of training dives at Beaver Lake. Participants must already be certified as Open Water Divers and have 24 logged dives by the end of the program. Newer divers can begin with the four specialties and receive the Advanced Specialty Diver certification automatically once the 24th dive is logged. Serve Day 2026

SERVE DAY 2026 is centered on serving both the world and the local community. The effort partners with Feed My Starving Children and Tacos 4 Life to pack meals that will be shipped to communities across the globe, and Shift 2 includes support for local outreach. The stated goal is 200,000 meals, along with a call to help send a quarter of a million meals to children in need worldwide. Each shift lasts two hours and includes a Feed My Starving Children orientation, hands-on meal packing, and a wrap up. Participants may take part in multiple shifts, and there is a 30 to 60 minute break between shifts to reset the packing lines and allow time for lunch. Snacks and refreshments are provided for everyone, and meals are available only for those serving all shifts that day. There are roles suited to a wide range of abilities and ages from 5 to 105. An orange serve shirt is encouraged, and one will be provided if needed. Families and groups are welcome to serve together.

A full moon ritual aligned with Aquarius invites genuine self expression and a spirit of healthy rebellion. Meet author Ms. Parker Harrison for a book signing at Tulsa Play & Cafe in Bixby. Princess Oni: Chronicles of North Country is a medieval fantasy for ages 8 to 12, filled with friendship and adventure. The story is safe yet exciting, aligned with Biblical values without being preachy, and is inspired by Ephesians 1:5. Follow Unoni on the journey to becoming Princess Oni, with a focus on identity shaped not by place or circumstances but by relationship with the Father. It also works well as a family read aloud. Fire & Ice White Party - Tulsa

A signature connection event for women in business returns with a festive white party that celebrates unity and women uplifting women. Expect fire and ice themed treats from Ring of Fire women business owners, plus a red swag bag for every attendee filled with gifts from bag sponsors. The format encourages meaningful connections with up to 40 women in business, with capacity set for 10 VIPs and 30 guests. Two attendees will be selected to receive Fire or Ice grand prize bags filled with sponsor gifts, each valued at more than $100. Bring business cards to share with booth sponsors for two-way networking. @ Bixhoma II

Part of the 2026 Tulsa Kayak Bass-A-Thon, this jackpot stop at Bixhoma Lake welcomes kayak anglers for an entry-level competition with clear rules and straightforward scoring. A 2026 waiver is required at your first check-in and then covers the rest of the season. Entry is $20, with 75% of the pot going to first place and 25% to Big Bass. If at least 20 anglers participate, second place also receives $50. Competition guidelines focus on safety, fairness, and simplicity. Kayaks are the only allowed watercraft, personal flotation devices must be worn at all times, and motors are permitted. Each angler may use only one rod and reel at a time. The limit is three fish, judged to BASS and Hobie standards. Fish must be measured on approved devices only, specifically Ketch boards or YakAttack Leaderboards. Courtesy on the water is expected, and any incidents should be reported to a tournament director who will determine an appropriate ruling. Prefishing on the day of the event is not allowed. Angler of the Year standings count an angler’s best eight finishes. Ties are broken by the most first-place finishes, and if still tied, by the better placement at the season finale. Fish submissions are photo based and must follow specific requirements. The entire bass, from closed mouth touching the base of the measuring board to the tip of the tail, must be visible on an approved board. Include the assigned unique identifier in the frame and take a single overhead photo without angling the camera. The fish must be free of any holding devices, lures, or hooks. Do not obstruct the lip, eye, or tail, and do not place fingers inside the gill plate. If a fish has a damaged eye or appears nonviable, record a video on your Ketch board showing the area of concern and then the fish being returned to the water and swimming away.

Battle For The Saddle Pads features a full slate of racing with added money and nominations that offer a chance at year-end awards. Added money includes a minimum of $500 in the Open and $100 in the Derby Sidepot. Exhibitions take place first, followed by an open arena period, then the race. Classes span multiple ages and experience levels. The 6 and under 3D has a $10 entry fee with a 90 percent equal payout. The First Timers 3D is limited to beginner riders age 16 and up, carries a $25 entry fee, and pays 90 percent on an equal basis. The 15 and under 3D offers a $25 entry fee with an 80 percent progressive payout. The Open 4D is $40 to enter with an 80 percent progressive payout. The 4W Farms Derby Sidepot for horses 7 and under runs as a 3D with a half second split, a $30 entry fee, and a 90 percent progressive payout. The Senior Sidepot for ages 50 and older uses a half second split, has a $30 entry fee, and pays 90 percent on a progressive scale.
