Summer Vibes Cars & Coffee at North Medford High School is a fundraiser organized by the Patriotic Youth Fund. Car owners can showcase everything from classic hot rods to the newest rides, with a suggested donation of $10 per vehicle to help raise money for youth. This is a no-trophy meet focused on the cars and the cause. Gobi's Coffee will be on site to handle coffee and caffeine needs.

Access support through a free clothes closet offering clothing along with blankets, towels, and sheets. A food pantry is also available, providing a range of foods to suit many dietary needs, with fresh produce included.

Now in its third year, this multi Camaro car club gathering sets out from Medford with a cruise to a classic drive-in theater in Newberg for a movie night. The plan includes multiple meetup spots so clubs and drivers from different cities can merge into the convoy along the route. The start is at Rogue Valley Mall, with additional planned stops in Grants Pass, Roseburg, Halsey, and Salem before rolling into Newberg. Depending on where participants are coming from, it could turn into a two day, one night trip. After arriving, the group will pause for dinner, then head to the drive-in for the feature. Timing for meetups may be adjusted as attendance numbers come in, and the event has been rescheduled.

What to do in Southern Oregon presents the event’s second year in the Rogue Valley, a comic book expo where attendees can browse thousands of issues and meet some of the writers and artists who create them. Entry is $5 at the door, and children 12 and under get in free. Proceeds support free community events that the nonprofit 501(c)(3) Rogue Comic Con takes part in throughout the year, including Medford Pride, Central Point Trick-or-Treat, and Medford Parks and Recreation's Howl-O-Ween. The gathering takes place at the Phoenix Plaza Civic Center next to the Phoodery.

The day begins with Dressage and Western Dressage tests in the morning. In the afternoon, the schedule features Showmanship, rail classes, lead line, tiny tots, and trail classes.

Experience a day of railroading fun at Medford Railroad Park. Ride diesel trains and a motor car, explore model railroad layouts in a variety of sizes, learn about local railroad history, and tour historical railroad equipment. Kids ages 7 to 12 can join a Harry Potter-themed performing arts camp filled with themed activities, crafts, and practice sessions. Each day includes hands-on performing activities, and the program ends with a short musical presentation created from what campers work on during the week. No previous performing experience is required, and returning campers are welcome. Camp sessions run Monday through Friday with identical formats, so families should register for just one session.

Marchfourth brings a free, family friendly outdoor performance to Lithia Park in Ashland. Food trucks and a beer garden will be available. All are welcome. Please leave pets at home and do not bring outside alcohol. Phoenix Vibes brings a family-friendly concert to Blue Heron Park. Earlier shows in the series have featured The Brothers Reed and Rogue Suspects, and for this installment the performer is still to be announced.

Free, family-friendly concerts fill the Lithia Park Bandshell with music, community, and connection as part of the Ashland Folk Collective series. This installment spotlights MarchFourth, a Portland-born ensemble that mixes funk, rock, jazz, and global rhythms into a kinetic performance. Bold horns and driving percussion set the pace while acrobats, stilt walkers, and dancers bring a visual spectacle, creating an experience that feels like a street parade and a concert together. MarchFourth returns to the Bandshell for another season, turning a summer evening in the park into a lively, dance-forward celebration.

Beginning Drawing with Robert Arieas is a camp for ages 11-14 that focuses on building foundational drawing skills to elevate personal artwork. Participants explore composition, shading, and perspective through guided instruction and constructive feedback. The environment is welcoming and encouraging so students can share their love of art and grow alongside peers. Tuition is $65, with potential discounts of 10, 15, or 20 percent available based on membership level.

An inclusive playgroup at Family Nurturing Center, Suite A, presented in partnership with Autism Society of Oregon, The Family Nurturing Center of Southern Oregon, and Bridging Communities. Families with children ages 0 to 5, of all abilities, can enjoy a warm setting that encourages play, development, connection, and a strong sense of belonging.

An inclusive gaming social at Ashland Senior Program welcomes kids ages 8 to 14 of all skill levels. The event features video games, board games, and more in a friendly, supportive setting. Kids may bring a favorite game or discover something new. Families are welcome, and a light dinner is provided. Admission is free and requires registration. This gathering is part of a summer schedule focused on connection, friendship, and fun.

Ashland City Band presents its summer concert series at the Butler Bandshell in Lithia Park. This 70-member ensemble, whose history stretches back to 1876, upholds a long tradition of weekly concerts and a Fourth of July parade appearance. Each program blends original compositions, orchestral transcriptions, marches, and selections from musicals, with guest soloists featured on many nights. Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and pack favorite picnic snacks. Pre-concert music is offered ahead of the main performance.
