Now in its tenth year, this free community gathering brings people together to cast a line, enjoy arts and crafts and oversized games led by the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living, explore activities presented by City of Allentown departments, and connect with community partners from across the Lehigh Valley. Hosted by the City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation and the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living, the focus is on accessibility, fun, and spending time together outdoors. Moon Wolf Pottery appears at the Fall Spiritual Holistic Expo at AG Hall in the Allentown Fairgrounds. Visit Booth 28 to see distinctive Raku pieces and wheel-thrown functional work, including pitchers, honey pots, lidded jars, utensil holders, piggy banks, soft soap dispensers, and incense burners, all suitable for the dishwasher and microwave. Admission is $10, and free lectures are offered both days. A new offering at the booth features naturally holed stones, often known as fairy stones or hag stones, formed by flowing water in rivers and along the seashore and long regarded as protective amulets used in rituals and spellwork. Many traditions say that looking through these stones can reveal fairies, elementals, and other beings of the Fae. The expo hosts 170 exhibitors and is described as the largest in the area.

Celebrate the season at the 11th annual fall festival on the farm, featuring local food and artisan vendors, live music, hands-on crafts and activities, informational sessions, guided farm tours, and raffles. Admission and parking are free. Proceeds support The Monocacy Farm Project, which grows fresh produce for shelters, soup kitchens, and food pantries across the Lehigh Valley. Hosted by storyteller Charles Kiernan, it invites participants to share a tale or simply listen as others present personal narratives, traditional folklore, and experimental pieces. Conversation about the art of storytelling is part of the experience, and admission is free. Kiernan is known for telling classic fairy tales to audiences of all ages, often drawing on German, English, and Irish stories collected in the nineteenth century by the Brothers Grimm, Joseph Jacobs, and Andrew Lang. He is also a fantasy author of A Vacant Throne and Sword of Trueterra and writes the blogs Fairy Tale of the Month and Writer's Journey.
