The route is 1.5 miles on easy terrain and was designed to highlight a serene pond, a rhododendron grove, and a rich mix of wetland and woodland plants, including orchids near the water’s edge. This outing takes place at the Jefferson Township recreation park in Mount Cobb and offers a welcoming way for residents from across Lackawanna County, including those from Scranton, to enjoy time outdoors. Registration is requested, and drop-ins are welcome. OAOA members attend at no cost, and a $5 donation from nonmembers is appreciated. No pets are permitted. A lively, family-friendly craft festival in the center of downtown Mount Pocono. Artisans and vendors share their work alongside food trucks and live entertainment for a full day of community fun, and the event typically welcomes more than 2,000 visitors each year. Vendor participation is handled through the Mount Pocono Association only, and organizers caution that any other sign-up sources are scams.

The fifth annual cancer awareness fundraiser highlights the theme Aloha for a Cure. The focus is on building awareness and support, guided by the belief that working together can make a difference. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and gold level sponsors will be featured on a T-shirt. To have logos included in printing, gold sponsorships should be confirmed in time for production.

Festival de la Mariposa brings an arts-focused celebration of Latin and Hispanic heritage to Dansbury Park. In Spanish, mariposa means butterfly, a symbol of movement, migration, and connection that speaks to Latin identity, and it is also associated with ancestors visiting loved ones. The program includes a salsa dance contest and a live performance by Fusia Center for the Arts, music from a live DJ, an exhibition of work by local artists, a food cook-off, food trucks serving Latin cuisine, a vendor marketplace that includes Latin-owned businesses, and hands-on art and cultural activities. Created to honor and share Latin culture, the event is designed for both people who grew up with these traditions and those discovering them for the first time. Presented by Pocono Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in collaboration with Fusia Center for the Arts and the Stroud Regional Open Space and Recreation Commission.

A pony-themed fall experience designed for children. It offers a welcoming introduction to horses, giving kids the chance to meet a horse and take part in hands-on activities in a safe, fun environment.

A new round of Magic: The Gathering Commander league play is getting underway. The league follows a monthly schedule, starting on the first Tuesday of each month and concluding on the last Saturday. There is no entry fee. Each week, players earn points by meeting specific in-game objectives, and those totals decide winners for individual events and for the month overall. This is the regular weekly tournament night for the Dragon Ball Super card game. Entry and prizing can vary, with some nights using a $6 entry for store credit awards and others using a buy-a-product entry for tournament kit prize support. This plant-themed bingo event is created in partnership with The Prop Stop, a plant shop in Clinton, NJ. The main game pairs with mini rounds like trivia and drawing challenges. Prizes include plants and plant care accessories from The Prop Stop, plus goodies and art supplies from the studio. It is BYOB and snacks are welcome. Attendees can bring a friend or meet someone new.

Ride With The Blue is a fully police-escorted motorcycle run in support of local first responders, starting and finishing at Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company. Hosted by B.A.C.K., the ride includes a helicopter escort at departure and concludes with an after party featuring food, beer, soda, and a live band. Registration is $30 per person and includes the escorted ride, an event T-shirt, and entry to the post-ride celebration. Active and retired law enforcement may participate at no charge with proper identification.

TimeWhys brings a lively set to the Warren County Hot Air Balloons, Fun & Games Festival, showcasing pop rock from the 60s and 70s with tight harmonies along with favorites from the 80s. The band, a seven-time Readers' Choice winner for Best Local Band, features Tom, Julie, Mark, Mike, and Dano. Expect hot air balloon launches, games, food trucks, vendors, and a balloon glow show as part of the festivities. The performance takes place at Warren County Community College.

7 NORTH presents a classic rock set spanning the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, packing in more than 60 hits from over 30 artists. Everything is performed live through real tube amps, with no iPads and no auto-tune.

This event will be held out on the patio.
