Military, EMTs, law enforcement, firefighters, nurses, and doctors receive free entry with a valid ID, offered only during this themed weekend. Visitors can tackle a 12 acre corn maze, say hello to Miss Tillie, a Highland cow, capture photos among the sunflowers, take a hayride to the pumpkin patch, and race down a giant slide, with ranch themed fun available throughout the day. With sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Portersville-Prospect, the festival highlights the years 1852 to 1928, when the mill used the force of Slippery Rock Creek to grind grain for bread.
