The program starts with a brief introduction, then participants will head out to search for mushrooms and later bring their finds to a beginner-focused identification table. This will differ from a typical guided hike. The walk will take place rain or shine, and walk-ins are not permitted. No foraging will occur and edibility will not be discussed. Eating wild mushrooms is unsafe unless an expert has confirmed their identity. A reminder email the week of the program will share parking details. Please avoid parking along the nearby road and use the open gate to park within the property.
