Potomac Station Coffee HouseBorough of Dormont National Night Out 2026
This community event at the Dormont Fire Station offers a chance to meet local first responders and learn how they keep the community safe each day. Enjoy ice cream, hot dogs, and hamburgers while exploring fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, and public works vehicles on display. Activities suitable for all ages are included. Information will also be available about volunteering with the Fire Department and the upcoming Citizens Fire Academy.
Dormont Fire DepartmentSummer Visiting Artist Talks
Throughout the summer, Pittsburgh Glass Center welcomes more than 30 accomplished glass artists from around the world for weeklong intensive sessions in its studios. On Tuesdays during this season, the visiting artists share images and video and lead relaxed conversations about their creative process. A roster of presenters is available on the organization’s website. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The venue is wheelchair accessible. To request an ASL interpreter or other accommodations, email accessibliity@pittsburghglasscenter.org.
Pittsburgh Glass CenterBojuka Draft League
Geared toward local players from Pittsburgh and Lawrenceville, the Bojuka Draft League meets at Coven Brewing for casual draft nights. The group is new and includes around twenty people, with a pod of six regulars showing up most Tuesdays. It provides an easygoing space to learn and practice limited skills while enjoying a drink.
