Settle in for an outdoor family film at the Thorn Alley Stage at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, where this installment of the four-part series spotlights A Minecraft Movie. Before the screening, families can take part in hands-on activities in the Courtyard, then enjoy the feature beneath the night sky. Films are presented in English with Spanish subtitles to create a welcoming experience for audiences across the community. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The series also showcases favorites like The LEGO Movie, Happy Feet, and Space Jam.

The concert has been postponed due to air quality, and a new date has been announced. When it takes place, attendees can bring chairs and blankets and plan to spend the evening. Food trucks will be available on site, including Grecos of Lititz, and parking will be free. Admission is free and open to the public.

Reading Roots Market brings together local farms, makers, and neighbors for a weekly market filled with fresh produce, creative activities, and family-friendly fun. Browse stands from area growers, pick up seasonal ingredients, and watch free art demonstrations. Children can enjoy a story time hosted by Reading Public Library. Each month features a live animal presentation, and there are movement activities along with a changing lineup of entertainment. It offers an inviting midday outing downtown for all ages. SNAP/EBT, FMNP, cash, and cards are accepted. Activities and vendors may vary.

Swing by for a fun Thursday night at Bear Creek with the weekly cornhole tournament in the Rock Garden, plus all-you-can-eat wing night at The Grille. Teams of two can check in starting at 6:00 PM, and bracket play begins at 6:30 PM. The format is double-elimination so teams are guaranteed at least two games, with games played to 21 using standard cornhole rules. After the tournament, you can catch the finals and winner announcement later in the evening. Registration is free and there’s no pre-registration required, just sign up in person.

Cheers Bistro at the DoubleTree Reading hosts a lively blues and boogie jam led by Busker Incognito. Presented as a monthly series, each session welcomes guest players to take the stage. The bistro offers a full menu of food and drinks, there is no cover, and parking is free.
