Take a relaxed morning stroll through Reading alongside BCHC doctors, providers, and staff. Along the route, participants can talk with BCHC clinicians about health and wellness in a casual setting. The walk wraps up at a BCHC location, where a Community Days celebration will be underway.

This event marks the conclusion of the Summer Quest Program with a community block party. Highlights include a yard sale, Touch a Truck, a bouncy house, yard games, music, food, and more. No registration is required for the block party.

At FirstEnergy Stadium, Boom Ball reshapes baseball into a lively, family-focused spectacle. The experience blends the sport’s most exciting elements with top-tier live performances, creating a quick-moving event with playful rule twists that set a fresh tone for sports entertainment and make the game feel thrilling again.

Settle in for an outdoor family film at the Thorn Alley Stage at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, where this installment of the four-part series spotlights A Minecraft Movie. Before the screening, families can take part in hands-on activities in the Courtyard, then enjoy the feature beneath the night sky. Films are presented in English with Spanish subtitles to create a welcoming experience for audiences across the community. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The series also showcases favorites like The LEGO Movie, Happy Feet, and Space Jam.

Find calm in nature as Aqua Om Paddle partners with Berks Nature for a beginner friendly yoga series at The Nature Place. This gentle, all levels class is led by Kami Kiritsis, owner of Aqua Om Paddle, and encourages reconnection with yourself while taking in the sights and sounds of the outdoors. The session is held outside in any weather, with a sheltered space available if needed. Bring a yoga mat, and consider a blanket for the final resting pose. Open to both newcomers and experienced practitioners, it offers a supportive community feel and a chance to nurture the connection between body, mind, and the natural world. Register online or pay cash on site.

Level 1B continues the journey started in Intro to Samskritam and Devanagari Level 1A. Over four weeks, students deepen their skills with an introduction to simple and complex letters, voiced and unvoiced consonants, word formation, and simple declensions. Completion of Level 1A is required to participate. This class is offered in person at Kula Kamala Foundation & Yoga Ashram, with sessions held in the Saraswati Mandir, or live via Zoom. Recordings are not available. Additional levels will be offered later in the year, and students must complete all four weeks of a module before moving to the next level. Participation is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $10 per student per class or $40 for the full four-week module. Advance registration is preferred through the website or mobile app, and each attendee must register individually. When arriving, park on the semi circle in front of the Ashram or use the lots behind the building and by the gardens, and enter through the front doors only. Please observe Ashram etiquette by removing shoes and leaving them in the hallway, keeping shoulders covered when not practicing yoga, speaking softly and respectfully, not bringing food or drink into rooms with altars, leaving water bottles in the hallway, and refraining from touching the stained glass in the Saraswati Mandir. A live performance by Mr Nice Guy brings the act back to Sly Fox in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania for a return appearance.

Hot Stone Restorative Yoga brings together heat therapy and gentle, supported shapes. Props such as bolsters and blankets are arranged to hold your body so you can relax and release tension. While you rest, Maddie provides hands-on assistance with hot stones to bring warmth and a sense of weight. No prior yoga experience is necessary and you do not need to bring a mat. The price is $30 per person.

Swing by the winery for an easygoing afternoon of wine and live music. The Royal Picks will perform from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a relaxed vibe for listening either on the patio or out on the lawn. Beirut Bites will also be onsite from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the event asks guests to support the onsite food truck and not bring outside food. This event is kid- and pet-friendly, but kids need supervision and pets must be leashed and picked up after. Note that outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

The concert has been postponed due to air quality, and a new date has been announced. When it takes place, attendees can bring chairs and blankets and plan to spend the evening. Food trucks will be available on site, including Grecos of Lititz, and parking will be free. Admission is free and open to the public.
