Volunteers Rebecca and Valerie will be available in the Genealogy Room to assist with Montour County family history research. The room is open to everyone, including those who are not MCHS members. Use of the room for your own research costs $2 per hour. If you would like the volunteers to conduct research for you, the fee is $5 per hour. Copies are 25 cents each. For research completed by the volunteers on your behalf, payment is required before results are sent.

After painting and stenciling, two coats of sealer are applied so your finished runner is durable, easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, and made to last. This session takes place at the Elysburg Fire Department behind the shop, with parking in the shop’s back lot and a clearly marked entrance. A phone number is required at registration and the class fee must be prepaid. If the organizer cancels or reschedules, a refund or a class or store credit will be issued. If you cannot attend and make contact within 24 hours, a class or store credit will be provided.
