Over two hours, you will be guided step by step through the process, from learning how to use artist-quality pencils and erasers, to sketching accurate proportions, to building textures and fine details. All supplies are provided, including drawing paper, a full set of pencils, quality erasers, and a blending stump, so you can focus on the techniques. This class is ideal for beginners seeking more realistic results and is open to ages 8 and up. Pre-registration is required.

The 2nd Annual Oscar’s Birdie Bash for PKU brings golfers and supporters together at Heritage Hills Golf Resort for a charitable day on the course benefiting the Alliance of PKU Families. Golfers can enjoy 18 holes, a light lunch, a catered dinner, access to a silent auction, and opportunities to win prizes. Non-golfers and families can take part with dinner-only options, access to the silent auction, and mini-golf at Heritage Hills, offering relaxed ways to support the cause without playing. All proceeds go to the Alliance of PKU Families, a nonprofit that serves individuals and families affected by Phenylketonuria through connection, education, and events like Camp Huber. Oscar the Osprey, the community mascot that hatched at Camp Huber on the Chesapeake Bay, takes to the fairway as the symbol of this effort to raise awareness and funds for those living with PKU.
