Experience a lantern-lit ghost walk through Westerly’s downtown, hosted by Seaside Shadows Haunted History Tours. This guided 1 hour and 45 minute stroll follows the Pawcatuck River while sharing accounts of deadly shipwrecks, cursed pirate gold, strange lights, colonial-era lore, and stories of real witches. Hear eerie episodes from the industrial era, including a tale of two spirits sharing one body, and learn about hauntings tied to long-standing buildings. The route offers atmospheric waterfront views and a blend of history and the supernatural. Tours take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in January and from March through November, with no tours in February. The meeting spot is in Downtown Westerly, and exact directions are provided after booking. Tickets are $30 to $35 per person. Tours run rain or shine, and refunds are not issued for rain unless the organizer cancels. Cameras are welcome. Pets are not allowed. This beginner-friendly skating class is designed for families, offering patient instruction for children and for adults who want to learn alongside them. After the lesson, participants can continue skating for the rest of the session at no additional charge. Rental gear and safety equipment are included with the class. Father 2 Father is a peer-based support group where dads connect to share experiences, build relationships, and encourage one another as they strive to be their best for their children, their families, and themselves. Conversations may cover parenting and co-parenting, child welfare, recovery, relationships, and other related topics. The group meets every other week, and light dinner and refreshments are available.
