New Program - Teen Fix-It!

Teens learn practical home repair basics in a recurring program that spotlights a different skill each month. Topics include patching drywall, clearing clogged drains, and painting a room. Participants gain know-how for tackling simple fixes around the house.

Buffalo River, Bones

This outing features an approximately 11 mile paddle on the Buffalo River with shuttle support arranged through Bones. Participants can meet at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Jackson or go directly to Bones. When booking shuttle service with Bones, list Justin Seavers in the group information field. Plan to bring bug spray, sunscreen, a small first aid kit, a dry bag or box, quick drying clothing, snacks and drinking water, a whistle, and a knife. Wear sturdy closed toe footwear and avoid cotton clothing. Life jackets are required for everyone on the water. Do not use mind or performance altering substances before or during the activity. If there are medical conditions organizers should know about, inform an instructor beforehand. Water soakers are welcome and are required for anyone planning to take part in Soaker Showdown 2026. Enjoy a free community movie night at Rockabillys Stadium featuring the beloved film E.T. Rev: New Location Grand Opening

The new Rev Powersports location is celebrating its grand opening with a community-focused event. Attendees can browse a wide selection that includes ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, go carts, golf carts, and more. Entertainment includes live music from DJ Von, complimentary food provided by Rev, and the Happy Lemons Lemonade Stand with Charli operating on a donations-only basis. Pets Rock!! Fest

Hosted by the Jackson Animal Care Center, the fifth annual Pets Rock festival takes place at Jackson Fairgrounds Park. Proceeds support the center’s low-cost spay and neuter program, which has provided more than 10,000 surgeries over the past five years. Since 2020, the center has taken in more than 8,000 animals, and this event helps sustain that mission. Vendor applications are available.

The lineup also features recipe boxes, mini flower pot decorating, and diffuser discs, finishing with an open-ended freestyle session for any idea you want to explore.
