Celtic Thunder presents a powerful blend of voices shaped by Irish and Scottish roots. Created in 2007 by producer Sharon Browne with the idea of uniting men from Ireland and Scotland to share music tied to a common heritage, the group has built a concert experience that balances timeless tradition with contemporary appeal. Performances move between intimate solo numbers and full ensemble moments with the Celtic Thunder Band, mixing folk standards, international favorites, and original songs. The production brings the music to life with vivid lighting, carefully crafted choreography, and stage pieces that suggest an ancient stone walkway, adding a sense of history to the show. The current lineup features Emmet Cahill, Neil Byrne, Damian McGinty, and Ronan Scolard. Along the way, the group has released albums such as Celtic Thunder The Show, Act II, Take Me Home, and It’s Entertainment, followed by Heritage, Voyage, New Voyage, and the holiday collection Holiday Symphony, as well as a Christmas CD and DVD. Highlights include the theatrical production Storm, the Mythology recording made at Dublin’s Helix, and a North American tour that visited 45 cities. Celtic Thunder later joined Sony’s Legacy label, with its catalog reissued for new and longtime listeners alike.

JAM Kids brings weekly small-group music instruction to the Learning Center at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum through a new partnership with Junior Appalachian Musicians. Designed for children in grades 4-8 and beyond, these year-round classes explore traditional Appalachian sounds on acoustic instruments such as guitar, banjo, and fiddle. Students may bring their own instruments, and loaners can be provided for the length of a child’s participation. Instructors may add other instruments as the program develops, and new students are welcome to begin at any time. Registration is required. Weekly enrollment is first come, first served and limited to 30 students, so registration confirms eligibility but does not secure a spot for a particular session. Families may complete the registration form in advance or fill it out at the museum’s front desk upon arrival. The cost is $5 per class or $45 for a package of 10 lessons.

Junction 4961 returns to Delta Blues in Bristol, Tennessee with a live set of classic rock and blues favorites. The performance highlights familiar songs from both genres.
