The walk begins at the Center St trailhead on the Kingsport Greenbelt.

Spend an evening at The Generalist immersed in creative coworking. Bring your own art, craft, writing, poetry, or any hands-on project and work alongside a community of fellow creatives. Artists, makers, writers, and poets are all welcome, as is anyone who enjoys making things with both head and hands. Admission is free, and the space is available for connection and focused creating throughout the event.

Settle into a calm group setting for meditation centered on ana pana, the simple awareness of natural breathing at the nostrils. Expect extended periods of quiet with occasional gentle guidance to support your practice. Everyone is welcome, including those new to meditation. You can register in advance through a donation link or simply drop in. Contributions are on a sliding scale of 2.00 to 8.00 to support the teahouse nonprofit, and participation is welcomed regardless of ability to pay. Purchasing food or beverages is encouraged. The session takes place in the classroom and meditation space on the second level. A laid-back art social welcomes anyone who wants to draw, relax, and connect with others. Bring a sketchbook or small project and work with dry materials such as pencil, charcoal, or pastel, and please avoid glitter, paint, ink, glue, and other liquids. Expect a supportive atmosphere with rotating prompts, weekly challenges, sketchbook sharing, and informal mentoring. A still-life setup will be available if you want an easy starting point, or you can begin something new. RSVP is recommended, though drop-ins are welcome as space allows. Seating is limited and may vary by room, with a maximum capacity of 10 participants. Purchasing food or beverages to support the teahouse nonprofit is encouraged. The gathering takes place at Tea Table on the first floor.
