JAM Kids brings weekly small-group music instruction to the Learning Center at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum through a new partnership with Junior Appalachian Musicians. Designed for children in grades 4-8 and beyond, these year-round classes explore traditional Appalachian sounds on acoustic instruments such as guitar, banjo, and fiddle. Students may bring their own instruments, and loaners can be provided for the length of a child’s participation. Instructors may add other instruments as the program develops, and new students are welcome to begin at any time. Registration is required. Weekly enrollment is first come, first served and limited to 30 students, so registration confirms eligibility but does not secure a spot for a particular session. Families may complete the registration form in advance or fill it out at the museum’s front desk upon arrival. The cost is $5 per class or $45 for a package of 10 lessons.

Junction 4961 returns to Delta Blues in Bristol, Tennessee with a live set of classic rock and blues favorites. The performance highlights familiar songs from both genres.

Singer songwriter Bradley Dargan, originally from Illinois, shares an intimate set of original music shaped by intricate fingerstyle guitar and expressive vocals. With about 15 years of writing and recording behind him, his songs balance a calm presence with nuanced complexity. The performance takes place in the living room by the fireplace on the first floor. This is a drop-in event with no registration required. Purchases of food and drinks are encouraged to support the teahouse nonprofit, and tips for the musician are encouraged. He also offers a weekly meditation upstairs in the classroom, available for solo practice or a guided experience.
