Volunteers help large dogs get exercise and enrichment through walks, outings, and community appearances, offering the social skills and care that prepare them for adoption. To participate safely, be ready to walk at least a mile and lift up to 30 pounds. Large Dog Walkers, ages 16 and older, are especially needed. Please bring a signed application and liability waiver to the session. After orientation, additional training is provided at BCAC based on your interests. Every step you take gives animals fresh air, companionship, and confidence as they wait for a home.
