    A one-day celebration of old-time music and dance honors buckdancing legend Thomas Maupin. The day features social dancing, contests, concerts, hands-on workshops, jam sessions, square dancing, vintage baseball, and other lively activities. Admission is $10, children ages 6 to 12 are $5, and preschool children are admitted at no charge. The program begins with a welcome from Keith Williams and the National Anthem by Samuel Gilliam, with Brian Derryberry serving as master of ceremonies. Performances include an opening set from Uncle Shuffelo and His Haint Hollow Hootenanny and a featured appearance by The Mudbug Stompers. An honoree recognition segment features Thomas Maupin with Daniel Rothwell and Overall Creek. Contests highlight old-time singing, banjo, fiddle, band, and buck dancing. Later performances include Leroy Troy & Cash and another set by The Mudbug Stompers, and the host band leads a square dance to close the festivities. Dance workshops take place throughout the day. Buddy Ingram's Gallinippers & Company appear on the Medicine Show Truck Stage at intervals. Kids can enjoy crafts throughout the day, with field activities announced on site. A vintage baseball game is planned for the big field to the right of the stage.
